My husband and I have an eBay store. I remember when we started a few years ago packaging was fun and overwhelming all at once. I didn’t realize it’d take so long either! Now when I’m doing packaging with people at my house they remind me how cool it is and how blessed we are to be able to work for ourselves. It’s so exciting and you guys should be so proud. On the note of office max being expensive as heck. YES. Lol we get all of our mailers and labels off of Amazon. I had to purchase from office max in a pinch before I was like how are these prices real?! Lol loved that you shared this with us.

Question! I see a lot of people print the packing slip along with the shipping label so they can go grab all the items and then stick the shipping label on. But don't you have to go pick all the items, package the order, and then weigh it and then pay for the shipping label according to how much it weighs?

So typically you’re right! But we have entered a max weight automatically and only adjust it if someone orders a ton and it’s heavier then we indicated 🥰 and the packing it slip had the order there so we pack it according to that!

This is so inspiring, being a stay at home mom is difficult and being able to work on your business is a good idea although time consuming. I deal with this as well although i dont have a website yet, i take my orders via dms on instagram, work on custom orders only because crochet is time consuming as you have to do everything by hands.
