a day living away from the philippines--independence is lovely but with opportunity always come sacrifice. walk a few miles in my shoes as you witness how my life has drastically changed (environmentally, mentally and physically...hello cheeks!) studying at hillsong college has been nothing short of spectacular and the relationships that i have began and developed through the move filled me up for some tips that i could pass on to my fellow overseas students! as much as being away from home is new and daunting, it's also one of the most beautiful things that we could experience (if we allow ourselves to).
honestly, i've struggled to adapt to my new environment doing the things I did so easily back home (aka making content). i haven't been a woman of my word. saying i'll start committing and failing to time and time again. i somehow seem to encounter SOME obstacle that hinders me from having the inspiration to create. "inspiration", that's the key word here. i so EASILY relied on being inspired that when i wasn't, i used it as an excuse to do nothing. i'm making a commitment now that nothing is no longer an option...time to be more diligent with the time and place i am at right now! come join me on this journey ❤️
