A Day in the Life of Robin Greenfield
Filmed early August 2023 in the Asheville, North Carolina region
Watch the full tour of my simple and sustainable life at my tiny house:
• Everything I Own Fits ...
Filmed and edited by Dear Friend Kerem Gencer: www.keremgencer.com/

Robin Greenfield is a truth-seeker, activist, social reformer and servant to Earth, humanity and our plant and animal relatives. He lives simply and sustainably to be the change he wishes to see in the world. Through living closely connected to Earth, he rejects the status quo of consumerism and demonstrates a way of being in gratitude, mindfulness and presence. His life is an experiment with truth and integrity.
Robin’s public activism involves dramatic actions designed to provoke critical thought, self-reflection and positive change. His activism creates nuanced conversations on the critical issues of our time, with a focus on solutions for living in harmony.
His life’s work has been covered by media worldwide and he has been named “The Robin Hood of Modern Times” by France 2 TV and “The Forrest Gump of Ecology”.
Robin has committed to earning below the federal poverty threshold for life and donates 100% of his media earnings to grassroots nonprofits, with a focus on supporting Black and Indigenous women-led organizations.
This channel is a resource for all who seek to liberate themselves, to live in truth and integrity, and to live in harmony with Earth, humanity and the plants and animals we share this home with.
Robin Greenfield and Dear Friends share means of achieving liberation and harmony through sustainable living, simple living, tiny house living, foraging, growing food and medicine, minimalism, zero waste, earth-skills, food sovereignty, community resilience, compassionate communication, activism, Black Liberation, Indigenous Sovereignty and living in service.

Too bad the deep state wants no humans to connect with nature 😔 Enjoy it while you can. And please stop feeling guilty that you‘re a white man. There are evil people and good people in this crazy world. And much of what THEY are telling on mainstream media are lies. Most important, in my mind, is having people you can trust in your circle and knowing that the creator made our world special, made each one of us including every living creature & plant resiliant. If we all took care of it, like you do Rob, we‘d live life in peace. Don‘t you see the evil-doers just want chaos, constant emergencies, divisions (where there were almost none)? Racism according to many african-americans has only worsened through these propaganda. Many say they don‘t like what‘s happening to the youth (black, white, brown, yellow, red) in the schools. How do you believe these same people, when they are lying to the children? About simply everything. You live your life Rob how you want to, that‘s the freedom you enjoy right now. But when you talk about activism, it should definitely include protecting our freedom as living human beings . . . just as important as the animals, the nature, our Earth and Heaven. God is real, just look around you

You're living the dream, Robin! Your day reminds me a lot of my time in the Peace Corps, which were such a wonderful two years. The biggest difference is that I didn't even have a screen at all, since I didn't bring a laptop or even have electricity, and smart phones had not yet reached the area (although when I got back to the states, imagine my reverse culture shock when suddenly everyone had a smart phone!) I had to travel an hour and a half to get work done in the nearest town at the internet café, which meant that I didn't waste much time on the computer. I miss my old house and those quiet nights.

I strive to live like this man, accept dehydrating in the sun. I remember trying to do that and my fruit gat raided by ants, so I bought a dehydrator lol. Also, y'all should all try lambs quarters, it literally tastes so much better than any lettuce you could have from the store. This guy inspires me to be more myself and to keep learning about the environment around us. I didn't realize it before but my main occupation in life is to be a Naturalist and a natural resource manager. I've been learning about this stuff ever since I was a young kid and i intend to keep learning

I really enjoyed seeing one of your typical days. I was curious too, of course. One of the things I appreciate about you, Robin, is (as much as your thoughts and service) is your gentleness. Your voice is always calm, your message is comforting. We need more gentle voices in the world today. Gentle voices are so powerful. Also, your focus on community and humility is a lesson for anyone. My grandmother passed a couple years ago, and she was - to me - what I always wanted to be: a lover of nature, artist and lifelong learner of the earth. I am reminded of her soul with your work. I, myself have already learned and implemented some of your practices and love learning again, but I have a long way to go.

I wanted to live similar like you, connected with nature...i bought a small land, started doing gardening, beekeeping and after 6 months my dreams became torn apart when i got lyme disease...went through several treatments without any result...its now one year of my health struggle but at least i feel a litle better but still have some really bothersome, painful sympthoms of lyme...i sold my garden, bees and everything connected with off grid living as i am now extremly afraid of ticks and what they can do to someone's health...what i want to say is that protect yourself from ticks, people...they are monsters able change your life without noticing that you had them on your body...do not rely on common repelent bought in shops...try to use army repelent that should kill ticks not just keep them away from you...good luck...hope you will fulfill your dreams of living more of grid and connected with nature...🙋‍♂️( sorry for my english)

My intention is not to diminish or downplay the health issues you have been experiencing, but have you considered that the cause(s) might be something else? I say this because i.m.h.o 'lyme disease' is a made-up catch all b.s. diagnosis that medical 'experts' often fall back on when they don't know what is the root cause of a patient's issues. Earnestly ask the Universe, the Divine, or your deity of choice to assist you in identifying the actual issue(s). Stay present and you will be shown the way back to vibrant health! Pay attention to the things you put IN, ON and AROUND your body (same thing really as our skin is quite porous) and the thoughts you entertain and focus on. Look up 'terrain theory' as an alternative to 'germ theory' to see if it resonates. Yes, the whole concept of germs and viruses causing issues to human health is truly STILL only a theory. Raise your vibration, look after your terrain (body, mind and spirit) and illness/dis-ease simply cannot exist! Going 'scorched earth' on ticks (or any creature) with military strength poisons (or any repellent or insecticide for that matter) will do YOU more damage than it will the tick population. It pains me to see someone give up on their dreams based on the FEAR of an unfounded and i.m.h.o non-existent boogie-man. I hope you are able to find the TRUE cause of your health issues and live your BEST life. Be well, friend.

Hi Robin, I have been a follower for years. I just wanted to share how inspiring I find you. Not just the lifestyle - I am doing my best to expand my home garden and get to zero waste and I think I can get close within a few more years - but your moral clarity. In particular, I remember your post about how 2020 was the first (?) time you voted because it was an effort to resist fascism. I see your videos and know how you must have thought deeply about that decision (one I obviously agree with), but I just so appreciate the thoughtfulness you bring to everything. I also appreciated your vulnerability recently in talking about mental health challenges. I am a social worker and typically reject the clinical model in favor of the model that our culture creates the conditions within which individuals feel depressed or anxious. Not saying that you feel any particular way about that (although I would greatly appreciate your thoughts) - but, again, I find that I am inspired most by your patient consideration and vulnerability. Anyway sorry to drone on. I hope you are having a wonderful week. If you ever find yourself in Atlanta I would love to go foraging with you ;)

Rob you are so awesome. Such a beautiful person. I love listening to you and the beautiful people’s voices you bring to your channel. One of my favourites was the making of food gardens for single mothers and their children. Your wearing rubbish suit was 🔥🔥🔥too. Every bit counts and your presence on youtube is fantastic! Vipassiona meditation courses and daily mindfulness really helped me too. I had done a lot of yoga and mindfulness before I did my first 10 day Vipassiona Course in my teens in the early 80’s. The extended Vipassiona courses, and being in nature set me up well and still do ….and for periods of beautiful extended solitude and art making, and listening to local indigenous people) as I lived and taught in South East Asia. Many cultures and places I lived were pre electric….. the stars and teaming wildlife were insane. To this day I celebrate the birds and nature every day…..very grounding and awe inspiring. Thank you Rob for you❤❤

Love the car scene where you are looking for food. I do the same thing constantly, especially for mushrooms. I've crashed my bike a couple of times because I was looking for mushrooms and not watching the trail. 😂
