Love the ordinary life! That's what really makes you both so relatable to so many. Kardashians most of us are NOT, so it's wonderful to see REAL life from REAL folks like the majority of us, even if you are a bit famous! (You are... just accept it!) One comment on your workbook: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have a good proofreader go over it!! I can't tell you how many "professional" materials I see in print and online that have errors - and it degrades the product. I worked in publishing for the phone company for 16 years so I get it - it would cost us if it was wrong! In our world of emojis and text "shorthand", a well-written, well-typed work seems to be a dying art. I proofread/edit on a weekly basis for folks, so I know "we" are still out there - so find a good one! A second set of eyes are always helpful, and they can point out things that seem clear to you, but makes no sense to someone coming in to read it that is new to the concept. I wish you much success with your workbook!
@sweetlady6059
@sweetlady6059 2 жыл бұрын
So true! These days I see so many published items with there instead of their or too instead of to. Proofreading seems to be a dying art indeed but taking time to go over your work makes all the difference between cringe reading and interest reading when words are spelled properly (and grammar too)

I grew up in a family with 2 girls and 2 boys. When my brothers reached teens, our parents decided we each needed our own room. My dad started remodeling at the top -- the attic, which they took as their room -- and worked his way down. Took 12 years to remodel the whole house and IN EVERY SINGLE ROOM THERE IS SOMETHING UNFINISHED. No doors on the linen closet, missing baseboards, a carpet (remnant) that's not quite right. If your stairwell never gets painted, it just means your house is lived in!

Thank you for showing us your day! Very interesting for me is the homeschooling part because for us in Germany there is no real Home-schooling possible, our kids must go to school, which gives the days a structure, no flexibility (good and bad sides). I also like your evening-routine, which is pretty similar to ours (our tooth fairy must ne the same as yours 😆). Thanks for all your videos - it helped me a lot on my way becoming a "minimal mom" ans it's always fun and makes ne feeling good. And even helps me refresh my English 😊. Greetings from Germany 🙋🏻‍♀️

Tom was wrong-it was interesting! My 10YO stopped to watch too! He’s fascinated by the kid’s beds and the kinetic sand…and that Tom is just like his dad (super handy)!

Maggie’s like I don’t need your help with math, Mom. I got this. Love that🧡 My Em is doing great with Beast Academy and tbh I’m learning math in a whole new way. It’s kinda of insane how I learned math growing up. It was basically rote memorization. That really screwed me when it got to upper maths. I had no idea how or why it worked.

We just got a game for my 10 y/o and myself and my 7 y/o love it also. It’s called Even Steven’s Odd, it’s a dice rolling game that everyone plays at the same time (no taking turns!) and grabs Steven when they complete the challenge(like spoons). There are math skills involved, and the entire round can be done in under 15 minutes- win! A game both my kids and I are enjoying 😊

I LOVE this! I love a DITL. Also, Adeline, gosh she's beautiful inside and out.(I absolutely love her name, it's very popular here). I'd love a digital copy because I'm in New Zealand and who knows if that would ever arrive if we could even order.

That was so entertaining and relaxing. I love watching your shows while I drink my tea. Now I'm gonna go set my timer for 15 min and do some decluttering. Thank you! 💖🙏

Not a boring day at all! Wonderful to see how you are navigating this season of life. Such fun to watch and learn. I have been watching since the beginning and love to see how your business has grown and how your whole family is adapting and changing too. We are a few years behind (younger kids, etc) but i hope for those moments to get up early and create again! Homeschooling is a fun ride for us too:)

You are so blessed to have your family around all the time. I unfortunately live alone now and it is so lonely. I really don’t want to complain because I was married for 48 beautiful years and helped raise our grandchildren for many many years. I have beautiful memories but it is a struggle everyday being alone

Your family is truly beautiful - it's clear you guys have trained them well to take care of themselves and each other. I'm so proud of you and Tom. If you ever get to Nashville, maybe we can grab a coffee. There are campsites really nearby - within 15 min of us ;-D

It was nice spending the day with you. Not boring at all. After seeing your lunch and dinner, it made me wonder about your meals. Do you keep the menu down to a few things or are you constantly looking for something new to print out or pin on Pinterest like me?!

I would love to know what you may be planning for retirement or what steps you’ve taken to prepare for retirement. I wish I would have started sooner because the one thing you can’t make up for is time.
