Күн бұрынIn this episode Miss Nancy the ex-racing greyhound is having more awesome adventures in Cornwall. The beach dog bans are starting to lift so we go out to find somewhere for the her to run around, as well as looking for somewhere that is still quiet in the summer holidays! We also find some awesome vegan food, have an amazing swim, and enjoy the end of the holidays. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing what it’s like to have a greyhound!

Removing the rocks from Miss Nancy’s nest and carrying her mat and blanket wherever you hike provides more insight into your values than 500 words :) A perfect dog mom. Had to laugh as I’ve recently been clearing Douglas fir cones out of a bed used by a 5 year doe who I’ve known since she was a fawn. She badly broke her leg recently and spent most of the last month hanging around my home for easy access to freshwater from a bucket and heaps of pruned branches I’ve cut for her. I noticed she’d attempt to move the cones from her bed so I did it for her. The infection is gone, bones are healing, she still visits most days but she’s out foraging up to several hundred meters away. And importantly she managed to nurse her two fawns from this Spring while accompanied by her two yearlings born in ‘23. Animals like comfy beds. Happy days!

🎉❤Hi Miss Nancy! Her coat looks so silky and shiny. It's just magical there. I love those fun coastal paths where you can enjoy the green and then have that fun in the water.🎉 Talking about Nancy Drew: I loved reading her mystery adventures back in the 80's😅

It’s great isn’t it having the water and the green! Really special area I love how the different parts of the coast have their own character. Nancy Drew only my favourite detective ever, I collect them and still read them 🤫 when I saw how nosy Nancy was I knew what her name had to be! 🤭🕵️♀️🔎💕♥️

Lost my dear hound in April. He was black like your dear girl. The zoomies on the beach remind me of him. I taught him to stalk me, by stalking him (officially called “Who Bit Me?!?!”). It was a fun game that would always lead to kinetic madness. Keep enjoying your dear hound as you so obviously do. Time flies.

Looks lovely and your dress is nice😂 I worked Monday and Tuesday and thought it's to nice so me and Bobby headed to North Wales and I honestly swam everyday. The air fryer was a winner and we got back yesterday and Bobby is so tired. Good times

I'm thinking about heading West now rather than North after seeing your posts. @missnancysdayoff I hope that your coastal adventures continue and that they are quieter than Bournemouth, to Milford-on-sea, at the moment because it is rammed! 🙄 The agenda for the day is get out on the kayak and away from everyone else! Thanks you I’m so glad you like them! I find a long dog is the antidote to most things 😊 We would love to try that, I’ve hardly started exploring Wales and didn’t get that far down!

Do you use anything for such a shiny coat? I have a red fawn so maybe harder to see shine generally but I’ve never seen her coat really shine

She is shiny isn’t she! 🥰 not particularly, I feed her lots of vegetarian things and sometimes a teaspoon of hemp oil with dinner. You’re right though I think it’s harder for the lighter colours to look so shiny ✨

@@missnancysdayoff yes the heat has definitely stopped us exploring though we have been in the leat/streams at Burrator/Cadover and on the beach at Saltram - not quite the same as a run on the beach

@@missnancysdayoff u can walk around the reservoir - Burrator 🐾 it’s shady in places which is ideal for dogs and a little stream at Norsworthy bridge acts as a refreshing dip part way 💦 parking is ok - few lay-bys on road on way around offer some shade if it’s hot 🚐 but no overnight….. Cadover is a lovely place Bridge over another river - few deeper places which are ideal for a dip 💦😊 and Saltram is NT my go to dog walk as live near by and if the tide is on the way in lovely for 🐾💦 otherwise it’s a muddy estuary 😂

@sharonmayer7572 just been reading about saltram, sounds nice I always get cross about nt places that won’t let miss Nancy in the garden 🤭 we will try both those thank you! I have more chance getting her in a stream etc, she really doesn’t like the sea! 😂🩷🐕
