oh my god, when you reveal the solution at the end my ears went "oh yes what a relief". then suddenly I knew where to listen to, but before that I was just "okay that's the sound" and there was not much of a problem to hear. and after that I was like "ugh disgusting, why didn't I hear that?" It felt like magic when you fixed it.

In all honesty, this mostly convinced me to just always keep the lowend in mono. For now at least, until I really know what I'm doing. The amount of issues that rule can prevent seems pretty large, compared to it having almost no downsides. Thanks for the tutorial again, always a joy to watch.

Thank you for all your tutorials @AudioMountain777. I hope that one day you will give us a tutorial on the phase relationship between the kick and the bass and how to solve this problem, especially when the kick is linked to a melodic bass line (several bass notes).
