The Bob Graham Round is a long-distance fell running challenge in which runners attempt to summit 42 of the highest peaks in the English Lake District within 24 hours.
I had the opportunity to spend the entire month of June, 2023 in the Lake District, training and preparing to attempt the 42 fell challenge the weekend of my birthday in celebration of turning 42 myself.

This is not a mere KZfaq video. It's a fantastic, professionally made documentary. I’m from England, not from near the Lakes but it made me incredibly proud to see someone who’s used to running in spectacular locations appreciating the amazing scenery and community that England and the rest of the UK has to offer. I was born in the Lake District, grew up just outside of it, not far from Ricky and have walked and camped on many of the fells shown but I am absolutely captivated by this video. What an incredibly professional and well put together documentary. You have a new fan.

I lived and worked in the lakes as a pastry chef near Windermere for 3 years, 10 years ago. Ironically, I got into running long after I left 😂 I didn't have the time/energy to take advantage of the fells.

Great film, really enjoyed that! We live 1 hour from the Lake District and visit every month to WALK the fells. Huge respect to those who run them!! We travel a lot but the Lake District is our favourite place on earth, nice to see those from overseas enjoying it too. You were SO lucky with the weather 😁

Great film....many moons ago used to run up from dumail raise to Helvellyn in my break from work?? My step father Stan winstanley ran the 48 peaks in the 70s..... with no pace runners he did it under 21.... Thanks for bringing back nice memories cheers.

Have to say this is probably one of, if not the best Bob film I've watched. Great storytelling. I love the 'outside' perspective and you managed to capture what's often missing from films like this - which is the culture, quirkiness, community and history surrounding it rather than just documenting the challenge.
