An automatic level crossing with half barriers located in the High Weald near the village of Burwash, a few miles south of Bewl Water.
As of very recent to the time of filming, this level crossing has been pretty much fully-renewed, with all that remains from what was previously here being the mossy wigwags / road traffic lights. Curiously, this has been kept as a half barrier level crossing rather than being changed to have full-barriers. Apart from the wigwags, everything here is new; there are surprisingly-long new barriers, brand-new alarms which are now on the near-side (left-hand / entry side next to the barriers), new supporting masts, new fencing, and new anti-trespass pallets here, and the relays here have also been modified and renewed themselves so that the alarms now continue throughout the activation sequence. As one of the barriers here is already quite a bit slower at raising than the other, the level crossing re-activates the alarms and flashes the red lights very briefly at the very end of the sequence due to the safety mechanisms warning that one of the barriers isn't near the raised position.
What's also notable here is that concrete stumps which used to be where the off-side (right-hand) wigwags were mounted on remain, but more noticeably than this are the almost comically-large level crossing information and anti-trespass signs. These are the largest signs of their type I've ever seen used at a level crossing! The anti-trespass signs being so large most likely will deter people from trespassing here as they really cannot be missed, but it is surprising, and a tad funny even, seeing such massive 'Level Crossing Information' signs.
