I remember hearing about sleep token from their newest album. I was blown away to the point where when I got home from work, I sat outside in the cold on a chair with a coffee in the dark, and just listened to every single song in their discography from start to finish. As stupid as it sounds, honestly one of the best nights of my life. Was in a rough spot and it just felt like exactly what I needed at the time. Worship

Wow. I did the same thing. Kids went to bed, got a beer, opened the garage and sat with my feet up. High Water was the first song I heard and ended up binging everything that night. I'm excited for tomorrow's reaction.

I love this song SO MUCH and it’s criminally underrated but I never get tired of it . Vessel’s voice got so many layers of perfection . You don’t hear this song . You EXPERIENCE this song . 🖤

I knew this one would make you smile when the solo came in. They don’t throw in solos often, but when they do, they’re exactly what they need to be. Tasteful. Meanwhile, that last fill by II is just gratuitous. 😂 Gotta love him. Vessel, meanwhile, is out here being a dead ringer for Chino in those verses. Just a beaut from top to bottom.

Just binged all your sleep token reactions, it's nice to watch someone who leans toward the musical side of the songs as opposed to lyrically, was gonna say if you also like watching reaction videos or are just interested in lyrical analysis for these songs at any point the channel project jango is really into dissecting the lyrics and he recently listened to all the sleep token discography and I personally think all of his lyrically breakdowns are the best I've heard and really helped me understand the story, just a suggestion! Love the reactions and excited to see your tmbte reactions!

So, prior to ST - my all time favorite band was Deftones. To me, this song is very reminiscent of Sextape by Deftones. I’d love to see if anyone else gets that vibe as well. The guitar solo was so shocking but I agree, perfectly placed. They love to keep up on our toes! Worship. 🙏🏼💜

This is the start of something...*bwaaaah* Vessel is always so clever and lyrically this might be my favorite of their love songs. I love how much Vessel treats his voice like an instrument and guides everything.

AGGH So fun to see you enjoy it! I've been looking forward to this and I was so disappointed to have to wait an extra hour to watch. Of their discography (Ascensionism aside) this is my favorite. ii's phrasing is just *chef's kiss* and the perfect example of his crispy syncopated style. Then Vessel's blusey guitar solo comes in with the steel chair and ii's little round at the end finishes you with a diving leg drop. Sometimes I think the two of them sit down and do writing exercises like 'what have we not done yet and how can we put it in one song together' just for funsies. And it works, the bastards. Now I must go google this Brown fellow...

He and Vessel compliment each other with their perfection. Drums are the heartbeat of a song, so II is vital. I am happy for you on your 1k subscriptions. 👏🎉🫶 Well deserved! @@BraindeadBreakdownSure. Most of their albums are superb, and, I happen to have good reason to strongly suspect that Deftones (and A Perfect Circle👌) are favourites of our veiled friend. I have to say, Detones have always been a huge let down live. But Koi No Yokan is sonically superb, White Pony album is everyone's favourite, Diamond Eyes is a great album too. The Diamond Eyes video of the single from Deftones is as good a place as any to dip your toe in. Now, A Perfect Circle are class. Maynard James Kennan of Tool fronting and writing lyrics, Josh Freese of NIN, GnR, and currently The Foos new drummer hitting the skins, James Eha(?) prev of Smashing Pumpkins on guitar and Paz, currently of The Pixies on bass. Judith video is a good one. Oh, and the band is Billy Howerdel's project (Tools former guitar tech). Kindest.

As a drummer (hobbyist), II is an absolute phenom. His fills are crisp, his musicality is top notch, and his technical ability is humbling. I haven’t seen them in your reactions, but if you appreciate drumming I’d definitely recommend II’s offerings. He’s played to instrumental tracks of Hypnosis, Alkaline, and Like That. He adds flavor to each of his playthroughs that aren’t there in the studio version.

With Atlantic it's one of my fav songs and the second album is for me by now their best album imo. I am also digging the softer songs, I enjoy the little things, the calmness, slow buildings, instrumental parts and solos and the pure emotion and heartbreak in Vessel's voice.

Thank you very much 😂 I wash with cheap shampoo and cheap conditioner (Alberto Balsam strawberry) and just leave to dry. 2-3 times a week. Very little gets done to it 🙂 I wasn't expecting to be asked 😂

Vessel is a major gamer and played the Halo Theme and also a song from Zelda as his warm up interludes into some of the piano songs, so it wouldn't surprise me if the "PS3 sound" was a sneaky little nostalgia slip

I was waiting to see you do this one, between the ‘voice and piano’, ii and the ‘oh, hai’ drum trills, and the ‘respite guitar’ solo… I feel like this is where we see the first real deep sync of Vessel and ii. Not to mention the moment of Vessel going, ‘yeah, I do that too and I’m perfect at the timing… here’s a bluesy guitar solo because I have the audacity… into vocal perfection; you’re welcome.’ In regard to the character voice, I feel like this comes from Sleep’s point of view, and a lot of that is in reference to the “collapse into me” that I think about collapsing into sleep when it’s all that will help heal me. Again, wonderful reaction. Worship 🙏🏼

The Summoning is I think the only other song of theirs with a guitar solo, and I will be genuinely shocked if you don’t love that one. And since the musical side of things is more your jam, I don’t believe anyone’s mentioned it yet in the comments but *they put out instrumental versions of the albums*! Well, Sundowning and TPWBYT, although I can’t find the latter atm. Even a lyrical lover like me enjoyed listening to those, so I’m sure you’ll love them.

At the time of recording this video I thought that II was not part of the "One" EP. I was going off of information in the comments section though as I didn't want any proper knowledge of the band, I just wanted to listen to the music 😊
