The plaintiff says she used to go to the defendant’s hair salon a year ago, and all was well. After she started getting her hair colored there, it started falling out. She’s suing for the cost of two wigs and emotional distress. The defendant says he’s been doing hair for 36 years, including for celebrities. He claims the plaintiff’s hair fell out because of her medication, not his coloring technique. He denies owing anything.

Imagine going to the beautician with hair, leaving out without hair. Than go back to let him to correct the hair that was damaged, and lost🤔, smh on that part, wouldn't done that. This the reason I learn how to do my own hair in middle school, and still doing my hair in my adult years.

To do a patch test you have to do the WHOLE process ON THE PATCH to see how it would affect the client’s hair. That’s the purpose of the patch test.

The Plaintiff should've been penalized for something regardless of the fact that the Defendant never should've complied with her DEMAND because that's what she did. A braid down after a relaxer does not typically cause damage. A relaxer weakens the hair because of the chemicals so adding another chemical in a short amount of time will kill the remaining elasticity and it will fall out. this is what the commenter was referring too.

Judge Mathis is not a hair expert He should have bought in a professional. A patch test is by law. Period ! I believe as a professional cosmetologist of 40 years . The client already had hair issues.

Bottom line he should have never allowed the customer to persuade him, I don't know her age but I am assuming she's over 45 possibly premenopausal, which allows changes in hair elasticity, I honestly believe his intentions were good😳

Blood pressure meds will thin your hair out....over time but there is NO way will blood pressure meds make someone's hair fall out like the photo because of a chemical reaction. I would have more respect for him if he just said, " I screwed up!"
