A herd of deer crossing intersection at Nara Park 奈良公園 鹿の群れが横断歩道を渡る

At Nara park, deers start the day from sunrise and spend morning to evening in the feeding place where they eat grass.
And when night comes, they return to the place where they sleep.
On their way back home, they cross at the intersection where cars and people usually use.

@iFeel zzzZz Two things to educate yourself about regarding your Christophobia: 1) Pretty sure Puppy Day is not a Bible thumper, that is an ancient Japanese traditional belief - from Nippon.com website: "Nara’s deer are considered heavenly messengers of the grand Kasuka Shrine and are honored with the name shinroku, a title combing the kanji for god (神) and deer (鹿). These hooved nomads have wandered the lanes and avenues of Nara since it was the nation’s capital some 12 centuries ago. " Are you so bigoted against Christians that any mention of a god will automatically make you think it's the Christian God? Look who's the delusional one. 2) If you don't agree with someone's beliefs, turn the (web) page or move on. There's no need to insult someone whom you know nothing about and who means you no harm. Unfortunately, there are many ignorant Christophobes like you, which is a good indication of the the kind of people you are, i.e., much worse than the people you oppress or are prejudiced against.

@@chibimaru1404 most modern Japanese people who are alive after WWII don’t know the taste of whales which was a tradition and it was a food source and the oil was used as a lamp in old days. I’ve only eaten it once or twice as a school lunch in my 40+ years as a Japanese person and my parents have never bought themselves so we don’t recall eating them at home. Only a few very specific regions eat whales in the entire Japan now. It’s the Japanese government endorse whale hunting for research purpose these days and no one seeks whale meats therefore so much frozen whale meats are stored to last decades. Go check the Japanese government site they say that there. Yes 80 years ago, 70 years ago as a mean to survive. But not now. It’s funny that Norway and other Northern Europe hunts more whales than the Japanese (above and beyond) yet you westerners love to bring it up. I wonder if it’s because we are Asians and due to such bias and prejudice this woke media brainwashing the West as if they forgot about lion hunting of the British to other Europeans (they don’t even hunt them for food but as a sport, really disgusting…). I don’t see you bashing the white Northern Europeans even though they hunt A LOT more whales. Hmm the irony. 🤔

This is the site of an old shrine, and the deer has been strictly protected as the "messengers of the gods" guarding the shrine since it was built in 767 AD. Of course, deer have priority on the road. In the past, killing a deer was punishable by death. Even now, they are legally protected animals and any harm to them will be punished.

何度か奈良公園に行ったことあるけど、ここまで大群が一般道路に出てくるのは初めて見た 毎年、何匹か車にひかれて亡くなってるらしいからドライバーも付近は特に気を付けて走って欲しい

@@Hithere-ek4qt We don't say "deers" in English. It's an irregular noun. One deer, two deer, red deer, blue deer...

You can learn from your own town of “ Oatman, Az”, it was “Donkey” but they too were coexisting with people peacefully . I’ve been there, just one little problem…they were…stinky.

It’s really cool seeing them in such a nice coexistence with humans. They’re not even afraid of all the cars and stuff. And some of the people were walking on the sidewalk alongside them. It’s almost like they’re people themselves. This is so cool. Although it also kind of sucks that humans had to built all over their migration route where now they have to wait for cars and stuff. But still.

We didn’t build the town in the migration route. These deers and humans coexisted for thousands of years. These deers have a number of mountains they are reserved just for them as these are protected and sacred deers of the temple. They come into the temple for leisure to get some deer cookies from humans and they enjoy roaming around humans. They bow a few times to get cookies. They come into shops, walk subway walk pathways to get to another side of a road etc. And they sleep wherever they like even bushes beside sidewalks. But these are wild deers. These are believed to be sacred animals of gods therefore they’re welcomed into the huge Buddhist temple in the city and they own the town as you can see. They got more privileges than humans in this town.
