My first NEW car was a cream (chamois) '72 Vega GT Hatchback w/4 speed. I really loved the aesthetic of this vehicle.

My first car was a 72 Vega Wagon I V8 swapped about 1980. I built a 350 SBC similar to a 1970 LT1, but with a bit more camshaft, Chevys 292 cylinder heads & edelbrock Torker intake. Turbo 350 & 2500 stall converter, narrowed 12 bolt rear with 4:10 gears. Drag shocks & two batteries where the spare tire well used to be. It was quick and didn't spin the tires unless the asphalt was wet. Thie think I didn't do, but should have... was put subframe connectors in it. That engine cracked the lower front factory four link mounts and they started to peel off the car. I sold it. I wish I didn't.

MOTION PERF. SHOULD HAVE MADE A C.O.P.O. CALL TO CHEVROLET AND PLACED THE ORDER FOR AN BIG BLOCK 454 LS- 7 AND MADE A SUPER VEGA. WITH THE PROPER COMBINATON OF DRIVELINE AND SUSPENSION COMPONENTS, THIS WOULD'VE BEEN THE ZL- 1 OF VEGAS . WHERE ,IS IT AT ....? 🤨

Thanks for your feedback! While some people love the nostalgia of classic car stories, videos can also be a great way to learn new things about these cars. Maybe there's something else on the channel you'd enjoy?

@@RareCarsRevival The problem isn't that I don't like nostalgic car stories, the problem is that there are so many channels like yours relying on AI to write and read them. It completely removes the humanity out of it, and what is the point of nostalgia without the humans? I'm probably replying to an AI generated comment for that matter, so what's the point? The human behind this machine obviously doesn't understand real human gear heads, or real human car culture, or he/she wouldn't need to ask a computer to make videos to leverage us for views. I reject your counterfeit in favor of the real.

@@webn8 Thanks for your thoughtful reply! I hear you, and you're right, there is a certain charm to the human connection in car culture. You get the sense of camaraderie, the shared passion, and the personal stories that come from real people. While AI can be a helpful tool for creating content, it can't replace that entirely. I'm always working to find ways to combine the efficiency of AI with the irreplaceable human element in car culture. If you have any suggestions for how I can do that better, I'd love to hear them!
