i use those little cheap thin bags i get from walmart they work great to catch the trash on the bottom, mine is old and wore out like you ive gotta build a new one soon, god bless you for sharing this with everyone,😂😂

@@godgunsandkenny I did it after your video Kenny since this was my cheapest option and yes it really does work!, I also modified a pool vaccum brush and liquid nailed it to the bottom of the pump since I really don't have trees or heavy debris on the bottom of my above ground pool , I'm still waiting for the glue to dry 😬, thnx again!

I was wondering what parts you attached to the hose attachment to convert it to accept the wider PVC discharge line? I just bought the wider harbor Frieght sump pump for my backed up yard drain, and it sucks because of having a screen over the very small impeller, so I'm not sure if it will clog if I removed it. That design would give a DIY pump a much better center of gravity, but the cord is way too short (8 foot maybe) to vacuum anything deeper than the 4 foot area of my pool. I couldn't touch the 10 foot deep end. So, I'm at an impasse here if I should buy the pump you used or just break down and buy a submersible vacuum. I'm looking to the Pool blaster contractors grade it's $299 right now! Geeze, but I really need a waste line and it has none. The Vac Daddy is too expensive and the waste attachment is an extra charge over the $1200 price Tag. Umm no way. Your idea might work for me. I'm a woman on a mission to get this done on a budget. I practiced in Miami for 17 years and i saw mostly auto accidents. Hopefully you dont have a herniated disc, but if you do, still go see a chiropractor. Better than pills and surgery !!
