Honestly my favorite part of Insym videos is the interaction he has with chat and just talking to us. It's crazy how many stories or memories he can share and talk about that he remembers that really add value to these kinds of videos.

I love how in these past few years many players and game developers and KZfaqrs all actively decided "Haunted mansions and war zones are out -- office workplaces, school, train stations, and the YMCA are the scariest things." Edit: Obligatory Abandoned-Factory-Asset- Recovery-Horror to fulfill us blue collar guys' fantasies lol

If you were curious about the inner tube (or tire) here's the reason it's called that. So, back in the day car tires had a rubber bladder inside of them that was separate from the outer wall. That rubber bladder was called an inner tube and it wasn't uncommon to use them as a float in rivers, ponds and lakes. Side note, you can sometimes still find inner tubes in bike tires.

So what changed that we don't really use them in tires anymore? Just better quality rubber nowadays making them unnecessary?
@jasonwolf5012
@jasonwolf5012 Ай бұрын
@@BitterBatter Inner Tube Tires Overheat A significant problem with tubed tires is the friction between the inner and outer tubes. This friction increases at higher speeds and causes the tubes to heat up-the faster they go, the more friction, and the more likely they will explode. In the past, when vehicles weren’t going very fast, this wasn’t much of a problem, but with modern cars traveling at high speeds on highways, it’s a significant safety hazard! Tubeless tires don’t have this problem, making them suited for modern vehicles. Tubeless Tires Are Cost-Effective Tubeless tires are also more cost-effective for modern vehicles. Since tubeless tires don’t have the extra tube, they’re much lighter than inner tube tires. More lightweight tires mean a more fuel-efficient car and more cost-effective tire investment for modern car owners. Tubeless Tires Handle Punctures Better Another significant reason we now use tubeless tires is their durability and ability to handle a puncture. A tubed tire with a puncture can blow out immediately, exploding and becoming a massive safety hazard for the car and other vehicles. Tubeless tires have a much slower deflation rate, allowing drivers to slow down, gain vehicle control, and reach a safe place for tire repairs or replacement. Also, modern tubeless tires can use liquid sealants to fix punctures and leaks quickly, unlike tires with inner tubes. (sauce: rnrtires.com/tips-guides/why-modern-car-tires-dont-have-inner-tubes/#:~:text=Inner%20Tube%20Tires%20Overheat&text=In%20the%20past%2C%20when%20vehicles,them%20suited%20for%20modern%20vehicles. ) The more you know. and for bikes, it depends where you use it. If only city and for racing, then tubeless. If you need to traverse through dirt and stuff, with a tube.

This is THE Poolrooms game in my opinion. Such an outstanding fantasy of the dev and unique environments, honestly, beats any other games by a mile by just sheer crazy surrealistic feel to them, yet maintainting that comfort, that makes one explore environments further. It would be so much more with a little bit more profound story and more tension added. But aesthetically-wise, the dev absolutely NAILED the feel of Poolrooms ❤❤ It's always a joy to see you playing more of Backrooms games, thank you! :)

About the wave pool being dangerous. When i was a kid i was in a wave pool at some point and i got stuck under the current and couldnt swim back up. Luckally i was able to grab a mans leg to het his attention. Otherwise no one would have seen me and i didnt have enough air to just wait it out. It was super scary. This man pulled me back up and helped me swim back to the side. I think this wave pool was just build in a wierd way because i have never had this problem in the netherlands. This happend in Egypt. And then the ppl of the hotel blamed me that i wasnt able to swim well enough which was not true at all 🙄

27:47 We call them inner tubes because older style tires, but also large construction vehicles and maybe some farm equipment, have rubber inner tubes inside the tires. Before there were "pool tires" or pool tubes, this is what people would use as floats on water. They even had Schrader valves like you have on your car tires, so you had to air them up before you went to the pool and transport them full, or if you were very unlucky, you had to use a hand or foot-powered pump to inflate them. These tubes were absolutely BALLER on snow though. They were slower than what we called a "runner sled" on hard packed snow and ice (if the rails were waxed), but they were still quite fast and a lot more comfortable ride. And they were often large enough, if you had one from a large construction vehicle tire, to actually ROLL down a hill, if you were absolutely insane enough to do it.

i had a nightmare like this once in my infancy. it was a deep rectangular pool in the ground where the floor was at an incline, so you were forced to go down one of five slides where all the water was going. the slides all led to a single horizontal tunnel where you would be crouched down and the water remained at chest height. the tunnels had a caveat where the only way to transition from one bit of air to the other, you had to dive and traverse the tunnel in either direction because the transitioning portion of the tunnel was below the surface. i was never able to do it, because i was scared that i might drown while trying to swim through the tunnel. i had no idea when the next pocket of air could be.

The way I understood the reason for innertube is that is it literally the "inner tube" of a tire. When I've floated down the river in my hometown, we go to a hardware store that sells the inner tube of tractor tires or like regular ones. Never heard of the going blind if you fall on your butt too hard.

Negative. He is actually correct as a proper "Seiza" position was known for causing leg numbness. Japanese warlords and shogun were always depicted sitting cross legged rather than in a seiza position so that they can evacuate more quickly and historically samurai did not sit in a seiza position unless in a presence of a high official. Look up a proper seiza position, try to get up from it you will struggle. You're thinking of a Kiza position which was used by Kendo and Samurai practitioners which did offer a faster standing time but was not used in official meetings.

29:32 I almost drowned in a wave pool when I was little. It was horribly packed with people and semi-hard foam plastic floaties. I was with a friend but we got separated almost instantly. There were 2 lifeguards for around 50 people (only 2!!) and they didn't notice when a floatie hit me in the head and went on top of me, forcing me underwater. I got stuck under this big mattress kind of floatie, that could fit 1 or 2 people laying on it, and the weight and friction of it held me in place so I couldn't swim away. I swallowed a bunch of pool water while trying to get air and then I managed to grip the edge of the floatie and drag myself free. I heard later on the news that there was a child that drowned in that same wave pool on a different day and I couldn't help but feel glad it wasn't me. I would never in a thousand years let my children play in a wave pool. They are absolutely dangerous and I'm glad they're banned.

"Is it true if you fall on your butt you go blind?" Yes, temporarily. Like, only a few seconds. Source: Pain. Not your butt-butt, mind you. Specifically the coccyx, the tip of your spine. Your butt is big and poofy enough to shield it, so you have to land really badly. But a direct hit at the wrong angle basically sends a compression shockwave up your spine, which is... disorienting, to put it nicely. Feels really similar to being knocked unconscious.

Haha, the weirdest questions pop up like 2 hours into your streams. Dog farts are infinitely worse than cat farts, lol. I'd assume it's because dogs tend to have much more variable diets than cats, and simply can be bigger animals (bigger guts).
