I have been to Iraq and Afghanistan. But if it is between living in a totalitarian state, or see your way of life and culture eroded away then you can’t rule out the option. If people feel that they have no other option or anything to lose then we should not be surprised that a civil war is one of the possible outcomes. World War 2 was started by people that had frontline experience in world war 1. So your statement might be true sentimentally among people that reflect back on there military experience. But that does not mean things could not deteriorate to where those same veterans would not see picking up arms as a viable option. I hope things don’t go that route, but I would not be surprised if they did. Nor would I be surprised if veterans participated.

It will become essentially third world countries when commerce & distribution of resources are cut off among factories. As such, unable to maintain a large army or a navy for example. @jimhovater8755 There is some truth in that. Extreme inequality is usually unsustainable long term, there's almost always a redistribution of wealth. Sometimes it comes about by peaceful means like the Scandinavian countries (Sweden and Norway were once very poor countries with many living in poverty). Other times it comes about by violent means such as the French revolution or the Russian revolution. After a revolution, things may be worse or not much better than they were before. France had nearly a century of instability after the revolution and Russia replaced one thuggish regime with an even more thuggish regime.

So I don’t think there will be an “all out” military civil war in the US. But I definitely can see civil unrest and small groups taking shots at each other. This could escalate into small group conflicts and domestic terrorism. It’s possible to have a break away state but it would be almost impossible to sustain this.

As a citizen, the best thing to do is “move to the mountains!” Its best to not engage in the riots or the whole war in general. Before the civil war begins, pack your stuff and move to the mountains. Find a small neighborhood or cabin and live there until it’s safe. Animals everywhere up there which means you’ll be able to hunt rather than going to the grocery store with empty shelves. I think that the best solution if a civil war happens. Move to a cabin and don’t attempt to go into the cities or engage in the war. Simple as that🎉

1) Look at all news sources, even those that usually challenge your view and analyze primary sources. 2) Lawyers aren't the only problematic professionals. Professors, businessmen such as Musk, Soros, and Gates are also a problem. 3) SCOTUS needs term limits, and Congress needs to get their heads out of their asses and LEGISLATE. But that means that the electorate that votes them in power also need to get their collective heads out of their own asses. 4) Activist from both sides have the freedom to PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE. Please familiarize yourself with political terminology. Republic means that sovereignty rests with the people, rather than the state being the dominion of a monarch. If you vote for people to represent you in government, make decisions and enact laws on your behalf then you are living in a representative democracy. The very act of voting is a democratic process. A constitutional republic can be a representative democracy and a constitutional monarchy can also be a representative democracy (such as the UK).

30% of children in the UK live in poverty. 0.5% of the UK population identify as trans. Transphobic crime is at record highs in the UK, driven in part to this kind of debate and lack of police resourcing. Information on crime rates committed by trans citizens cannot be disclosed by the Govt because of existing privacy laws. So while we debate anecdotal risks associated with a very small and marginalised segment of our society, we have but elect to ignore the data that highlights we as a society are failing to invest in our children.

This video reminds me of a very powerful scene from the movie "The Patriot" with Mel Gipson. He gives a speech and says, "Why trade 1 tyrant 3000 miles away, for 3000 tyrants 1 mile away?" Also stating that this war will be fought in our backyards, our children will learn of War first hand." I pray for this country, and am saddened and fear just where we are headed!!! God help us all!!!
