What i am saying is matter of choice.. i am sure Tyler didnt introduced him because he was not sure if its ok to refer Mayer.. maybe Fujita wants people to know him for his work and skills.. i agree with you, its not very difficult but its not something disappointing..

The year's 2006: I get my first guitar (a blue Squire HSS) + amp and, with it, comes a little book (with acompanying CD) from Tomo Fujita to teach absolute beginners the very basics and how to have fun in the first few weeks. I was clueless on how to play the guitar, on how to tune it up, etc, and that book came through for me in the first crucial weeks. Even though I've never met him, I feel like he's been a key part of my guitar-playing experience.

I know that feeling. I had owned a Cort (thick neck, small frets, overall an OK guitar) and played it exclusively for 7 years, and then I stepped up and got my dream guitar, Ibanez RG prestige, and didn't touch my Cort for almost 3 years. And then I just picked it up, put new strings and like everyone else said "It plays itself". Wizard neck is amazing but the bond with my first ever guitar is in another level.

My great music teacher in junior high school gave me, in my opinion, one of the best musical lessons that anyone learning to play or experienced for that matter, should employ. His motto, "If you can not hum it, you will never play it properly" . In other words you have to feel it. He would stop everyone and say stop reading the music and listen to me and then he would hum the melody and have everyone hum the melody and only when he felt we had the FEEL of the piece we were playing we would continue.

Tomo made me smile like a crazy person while sitting in the train... A little background here... I love metal and rock, but when it comes to japanese music I love J-pop the most... The reason is because J-pop composer really know what they're doing! The basslines are always so original (sry, I'm a bassist) and the melodies are just amazing! I especially love Tsunku and his songwriting... But also some individual songs like ponponpon he was refering to... This song is so insanely catchy! He gets it... And I hope more people gonna check out good japanese pop music because it will improve their skill to come up with really original music... 藤田先生、教えてくれて本当にありがとうございました!jpopは最高ですね•••
