@@davidgomes4408 I can't speak for other DMs, but I noticed early in on the Eiselcross arc that something Matt described was as someone that's never lived in a region that has snow on the ground. I can't remember the specific moment.

@@pardox28 Thanks for the answer but my question might have been not specific enough. What I meant was : what does a cold setting need to feel authentic? I mean I could mention stereotypes like having to get rid of snow everyday or the sun setting early or butter oriented cuisine, but I'm guessing that what you picked up was more subltle. Hence my question.

@@davidgomes4408 I don't quite remember. I think it was something about not understanding the physics of snow - how it crunches under your feet, how it gets hard or crusted in super cold nights, how heavy it is, how slow or fast it melts away, etc. Sorry I cannot be more specific.

Every episode is basically a Snyder Cut(but not shit). Of course not everyone can commit to that kind of length _weekly._ IIRC plenty of people just play it in the background during the live broadcast and then use Flando timestamps or highlight vids like these to review the juicy bits.

So I literally never comment on videos. They would get lost in the shuffle most times. I caught this one early thankfully. I don't know how long I've been subbed, but it's been a minute. I've truly always loved how you do your highlights. They're well done, and nearly 100% of the time fit in line with my sense of humor or interest in parts of an episode. So I really appreciate that. In your descriptions, I know that you "beat yourself up" so to speak about timing, or feeling bad about being "late". I don't want to speak for anyone else, but please know that no matter the timing, you're doing great. Just like the CR cast has said many times over, they do CR for them and the byproduct has been this massive undertaking and production for others to enjoy. That's how I view your highlights. You do them for you, but also share them for other's enjoyment also. You have nothing to apologize for, we appreciate your hard work, value, and care you show through your comments and your videos. I don't think anyone truly is "frustrated" or anything for a "late" video. Long winded, but felt the need, I apologize. Keep up the amazing work, but please also give yourself the care and love you give these videos. You have nothing and no one to apologize to. We appreciate you!

I mean, usually stealing refers to when you completely steal, like take it out of the store and everything. She just took an item and then put it on the counter before leaving the store, so it was like when you pick something up that you didn’t mean too.

The murder apron is _clearly_ meant for Chetney, as it boosts his DPS capability, which is much higher than either Ashton's or Orym's, AKA the party tanks. Wolfed out, Chetney gets 1d6 claw damage + 1d6 crimson rite damage + 1d6 sneak attack damage + 4 Str bonus (17+1 Str) + 1 Feral Might. Meanwhile, max damage Orym can output a turn is 1d6 shortsword + 1d8 superiority die.

I will say Orym also gets to add 5 to his damage from Dex, and Action surge exists. Ashton arguably has the most dice to roll, being 2d6 + 4 from the maul + Chaos Burst (2d4) + Rage (2 damage) and I will say the crit on 19 or 20 would happen more often for him because he gets advantage at his disposal with Reckless attack. I'm not exactly sure what his different rages do, so I can't say anything about that either. However, Chetney would probably benefit the most from an rp and combat perspective due to how he gets that damage much more consistently than Orym or Ashton do, the other two reliant on charges for their skills while sneak attack is guaranteed if you are in melee alongside another creature, which is pretty damn often. Just thought I'd add onto the conversation.

@@greyscaleadaven Action Surge is just one turn, for at least until level what, 17? Also it's been clear since their first few combat encounters that Liam intends to use Orym for control, not damage. His favored maneuvers are Bait and Switch and Goading Attack. I think Orym knows a few more maneuvers (Feint comes to mind) but other than that, his primary purpose has been to keep damage away from others, not necessarily to deal damage himself. As for Ashton, it seems like Taliesin has expended all his lucky damage rolls as Percy, and so far hasn't gotten really mean hits in. Like Orym, Ashton seems to work best when his control features are up and running (e.g. gravity well), as opposed to the extra damage from the Chaos Bursts. It's possible that if Tal rolls well that he can make use of the bib, but IMHO right now Chetney will make fuckers bleed when he's wearing that apron.

I don't play alot. But I'm pretty sure when it comes to dice rolls, and Critting more often. It's generally whoever attacks more. I think chetney gets 3, and orym gets 4? If he action surges so it's statistically better on chetney

@@Shootermcgav1n69 not necessarily. Marisha is notoriously bad at rolling, and often has a crapton of attacks. Beau had the ol' pop-pop, Laudna has the quad eldritch blast. Thankfully Marisha is pretty good at role-playing, so it balances out her dice luck.

Weeeeell... On the one hand I kinda agree that Chetney would get the most out of the item, if only because Ashton uses bludgeoning damage (so no double crit chances for him) and Orym ultimately has less attacks per turn until level 11. That said, Chet's claws are not finesse weapons and are not "supposed" to apply sneak attack damage. Then again, as it poses exactly the same conundrum as monks unarmed strike, for which many DM chose to let sneak attack apply, it could be argued that SA does apply to Chet's claws. But I digress : my point is actualy that the butcher's bib is like opera. Or opinions. Sure, you can use it, but really why would you? "On paper battle mentality" aside, you are wearing a pool of blood (and its smell) at all times. Outside of combat and/or an intimidation attempt, this item is more of a liability than anything. Ex: - I would personally suppress Chet's advantages on smell related perception checks if he wore it. - In a jungle setting (oderan wilds and aeshanadoor) full of hypersensitive smell equipped carnivorous predators, traveling while wearing the bib amounts to walking around Jurassic Park wrapped in freshly baked goat bacon. - The Bells Hells already scare half the people they meet without flexing. Wearing the bib would qualify as min-maxing. It's simply not their style. So yeah, on a table oriented more around RP/social navigation with a setting where smells matter : This item is fool's gold. On the other hand, if they ever drop by the hells...

Sam is the dumbest Smart person I've ever seen lol. He is clearly paying attention deeply often yet also is off in la la land. Travis is the only one to my knowledge who has said they have ADHD but honestly if Sam had it I wouldn't be shocked, (not to diagnose people over the internet). I've got it and that's deeply relatable. You know some things in excruciating detail and can retain everything and connect all the dots on the conspiracy string board in your head and Sometimes you realize that people have been talking for 5 minutes and the tape recorder in your brain wasn't on and missed all of it so you really better try and turn your ears back on because you might be missing something important lol.
