Why do people say new cars' designs are UGLY I can't see that do cars need to stay the same shape for the next 20 years now that's going to be boring BMWs are beautiful cars I own 3 if had the chance to have more sure why not. Best value for money in comparison to the Mercedes. The most sensible car between itself then any Mercedes. Better looking better technology overall just much better then Mercedes, price wise compared to the new E-class the base 5 series is around R180 000 cheaper then the base E-class so this is the best choice. So I own an E46 M3 an X2 and an F90 5series.

Re Buttons, I’ve had X3’s , 530d etc and now something completely different the little 220d Gran Coupe ( a 2022 model) the PERFECT combo of tech AND real buttons ( and it’s got a nice bottom , excuse my French 😂) and I’m averaging 67mpg …thanks for your unique channel. !

As a father with two kids (small babies), the backseat is very small and not easy with babies in the back. SUV is the only option for families with kids. Also the 2.0d engine is very slow.

Oh I adore this woman and her reviews. So refreshing and entertaining. A lot more fun than in the UK. Not a bad signing voice either! Personally I’m not a fan of the new BMW’s, I think they’ve lost their way in the looks department. Surprised to see a diesel being driven. Shame they dumped the 6cyl’s though.

Tbh I would say F10 generation was probably the best looking 5 Series. This one does still look amazing though. Unfortunately, not a fan of these new BMW interiors but I guess the general car industry seems to be heading towards getting rid of physical buttons.

For some reason, the 5 series is the only BMW has ever moved my needle. Think it comes from the S85 / M5 -V10.

The piano black interior does show a lot of dust. The OCD buyer will never get out of the car

Great car. Would have preferred the 3 litre, 6 cylinder diesel at that price point. The 530d. ( read that upside down 😂😂).

I wish they can bring the 6 cylinder diesels. These 2 litre 4 cylinder diesels are irritating and slow. I think the E class beats this on interior material quality whereas the 5 will most likely have better build quality. The lower half of the door panel in the new 5 is hard plastic which is a shock to me as BMW was doing soft while Mercedes was doing hard with their recent cars. Yet, it's the opposite now.
