I love your comedy for being a perfect example of how to joke about controversial/sensitive topics without being offensive and harmful. Conservative "comedians" are always complaining that PC is killing comedy, but here's Gianmarco showing everyone that it's possible to make jokes about trans people that aren't at the *expense* of trans people. Your comedy has an "edge" without punching down, and I wish more comedians would follow suit. You're my fave!

One thing I love that I’m realizing we don’t get to see in shorts is how he resets between each joke by making a silly dramatic pose. The mysterious look over the shoulder from the wall or the barely balanced stool crouch sets up each new bit so well!

There's one audience member in a prominent seat that I'm pretty sure had no idea who they were about to see and just showed up. That somehow just adds another level to the jokes to me.

I know for a fact my boyfriend hadn't seen anything by Gianmarco. I bought the tickets and then told him he was going rather than asking if this is who he wanted to see xD He's sitting on the other side of the guy who hugs his gf protectively when Gianmarco leans towards her. I'm just on the other side of my bf. Can confirm that 7/10 people at the front table did not know him before being dragged there by friends. Seating was randomized by staff at entry.

am also a canadian who went to a french school from k-8 and continued to live in a french dominant city, speaking both in the home until 19...then moved to Rhode Island and have been here for 7 years and decided to visit recently and order something from an A&W in Quebec...the jig was up.

That was incredible. Banger after banger, clearly material that's been worked on to perfection. Rhythm was on point, physical was hilarious. Just a pro doing pro shit! As a Montréaler, I just get confused because I'm entirely French/English bilingual, so when I get hit with a "Bonjour Hi" I just answer "Bonjour Hi", and the rest of the conversation is just entirely in Franglais because neither of us can choose a language
