Күн бұрынFirst ride back after a while out and this ride reminded me why I prefer the winter riding . Plenty of mud water and laughs on the welsh trails . All in all great day out , the mudslingers were out in force.

Loving the vid Steve. I lost the front end on the 690 four weeks ago and snapped the ligaments in my shoulder. Confined to barracks until next year! Bugger! Keep up with the content, I need something to keep me going. Cheers pal.😊

Excellent as ever! I hate the middle track but it’s astonishing how straight some of them are. The 690 did well and with so few revs compared to your team mates. Look forward to the next episode!

Thanks Ian, first ride back, bike fitness not great, but always a pleasure on the 690. Some serious ruts on some of these tracks and wasn't helped by my tyres being rubbish but a good day out on the bike

@@myktmadventures It looked pretty tough going but a day of easy stuff is no challenge…. I haven’t done much green laning for many years so gentle trails in the US on a 690 last month was quite an eye opener. I need to toughen up before a 4,000 mile trip next year. I take inspiration from your exploits! Cheers, Ian

@ianross225 4000 mile trip sounds awesome mate👌. I do like the challenging stuff tbh, that's why I prefer the 690 to the smaller bikes it just makes it that but harder but still capable of going most places . Hope your trip all goes to plan .. enjoy the ride👍

Great vids! I was wondering if the 690 Enduro and 300L are specifically designed for long-distance trips, resulting in longer maintenance intervals. However, the Husky 350 is primarily focused on high performance, leading to a shorter maintenance period. Do you think it's sufficient for traveling with an ADV bike? Additionally, what are your thoughts on bikes like the FE 501 for long-distance trips? I'm a motorbike beginner. I might buy a midweight motorbike like 690/701 or FE 501

Pretty much as you've said , the 690/701 will sit better on the longer trips , the smaller bikes will also do them but will need more regular maintenance/ oil changes etc etc. A lot of it comes down to what riding you want to do and riding ability, a lighter bike ( 350) will be easier to handle for novice riders but then comfort is compromised on longer journeys. I think for me personally the 690 sits perfectly for doing all that I want to do. Thanks for watching the channel 👍

Can't remember front but it's very worn but rear is a motoz enduro it which is a good tyre but it is worn now and not hooking up well in this mud
