A look at the cheapest, livable home for sale in Phoenix

If you're shopping for a home right now in the Valley, you know it can be a frustrating process. There's not much out there for sale and the market is unpredictable.
With all the expensive homes in the Valley, we wanted to find the cheapest house in the Phoenix area, and it wasn't too far from downtown Phoenix.
Seven minutes south of downtown to be exact.
The house is listed for $215,000.
Keep in mind that there are cheaper condos and mobile homes even as low as $15,000, if you're willing to live far east or west. But for the middle of the fifth-largest city in the country, this is the one we found.

I'm struggling with my $1k rent and may be homeless in a month. This makes it clear I'll never own another house again. It kind of makes me want to cash in my chips and quit the game now.

@@Scene68 I really don’t see how. Most jobs in Phoenix pay $18 an hour or less, and in the last two weeks of job searching all I’m getting are occasional interviews and being asked to wait for emailed job offers that never come.

@@danieldaniels7571 That's horrible wages are not up to par in this day in age. The minimum should be at least $20 and the high at the very least $26 an hr; because everything is going up.

You get a mobile home for 15 thousand and then the landlord increase the rent from 600 (after luring you in to his plot of land) to 1200 a month for a cheap little box.

You have control and keep paying for the freedom that living in a area that Microsoft wants and it is going up .Don’t forget Apple or Amazon don’t talk about ARIZONA but Microsoft does . You know the price of expensive cheap labor is going up .

Shoot soon Americans will be lieving in Kazakh yurts with the skyrocket prices like that. It has its perks. Tired of life here, disassemble the yurt, put everything in your pickup truck to move, then at your new place assemble it back together, you're all set! Pay for your home once and for life!

Hell no, I think people need to start co/ hesitating housing between just to families that’s all you need to families need to occupy home split the mortgage get along right of the agreement and try to make it work because this is ridiculous. No one’s gonna live in a dump and I was gonna pay that much money for trash. I don’t care how much you wanna put something updated and put a Band-Aid on it. It’s still a horrible look in Little House.
