A Look Back at NATO's Destructive Past on its 75th Anniversary | Vantage with Palki Sharma
NATO celebrated its 75th anniversary with a foreign ministers' summit at its headquarters in Brussels. The alliance was founded on April 4, 1949 when 12 countries signed the Washington Treaty. Seven decades later, NATO has expanded to 32 members, including neighbours of Russia. While member-states have called NATO a force for good and democracy, activists have blamed it for the death of hundreds of innocent civilians in war zones across the world. The alliance has fought wars in Libya, Yugoslavia and Afghanistan - leaving those countries destabilised for decades. So, what is the real legacy of NATO? Palki Sharma tells you.

Engaging series. As a proud Indian🇮🇳, I really love ♥ and have a lot of respect for the incredible work of Palki Sharma really interesting story *How British looted 45 trillion from India* which is as a masterpiece of the highest quality. Its content is truly inspiring and I thoroughly enjoy watching it. The dedication, talent and hard work poured into the video are greatly appreciated by many. The Indian Union Public Service Commission has also deliver a remarkable report titled संघ लोक सेवा आयोग *How Britishers killed 1.8 billion Indians. Chronology of British Raj's exploitative policies* | UPSC," is equally astounding. The Indian government consistently produce insightful and thought-provoking articles of the utmost caliber. I sincerely hope they continue to produce such captivating exceptional work. Can it even get better than that? They deserve an award for best report of the year. Thank you for telling the truth.

For those who havent read the Indian government's Commission's report on how 1.8 billion Indians were unalived by the British Here is a short summary
@PraneeI
@PraneeI Ай бұрын
First, it was done over a very long period of 200+ years. Not all in one go. And it was the British policies and laws implemented that killed 1.8 billion Indians, not that they were executed
@PraneeI
@PraneeI Ай бұрын
The two main policies that wiped out 1.8 billion Indians are: 1: Allocation of food: Since the British were at war all the time, they didn't have people to do the farming. They made India do agriculture and then take it away. causing a massive famine every week. 2: Plundering of India's natural resources The British forced Indians to mine all the natural minerals in their country and carry them to the ports to be shipped back to England every day. extremely dangerous jobs, and these poor Indians weren't fed, and hundreds of millions succumbed to the exhaustion. The whole of India was ruled by only a handful of Britishers. Why India chose to never fight back baffles many to this day. Maybe India is just obedient by nature.

Don't get us wrong "going after Taliban was not a mistake, it was an important strategic and moral goal". No Palki, it was not a moral goal rather a strategic only. Invading any sovereign nation under any pretext is illegal and morally wrong. Only reason they invade bcoz they thought they are powerful enough to eliminate Taliban and can get hold of Afghanistan to keep watch on Russia, China, Iran and maybe India. Only reason they left bcoz they failed in their objectives and badly defeated by Taliban's insurgency.

Why do u think its business of america to protect? Revolutions dont happen by force. If afghans aren't up and arms against taliban, no change is possible. But america behaves like almighty, bt cant even finish the job. Afghanis were minding their own business, american assault united them to join hands with taliban. Why tf america cant be patient? There r battles that need brain than muscle. The terrorismm doesn't exist in blood. Its an ideology,it exists in the minds of few muslimsss who has a goal of islamisationnn of the globe. Instead of targeting the ideology and promoting education, science and technology, USA goes there with an iron fist. Returned home with an embarrassment of 20 damn years. This world doesn't need saving , it needs observers and intellectuals , those who know when to act and when to not act. Honestly, NATO knows they r powerful and thats why they need not respect sovereignty of smaller nations. But a just and law abiding world is only possible if the leaders of that world practice mutual respect and caution. I hope world powers grow wise with time. Its like how govt have grown wise. Now govts focus more on governance rather forceful government.

8 December 2021, an Indian highest priority VIP helicopter mission transporting India's most important senior commander *Bipin* as well as many of India's most highest ranking captains, generals, officers, chiefs, squadron leaders all onboard crashed resulting in the death of all 14 passengers. If India cannot even guarantee their most senior military officer safety during a short and simple 4 minute flight, how can they possibly accomplish anything? This is *not* a fairy tale made up by India's adversaries to make it as though India's military is incompetent. It's real, with concrete evidence of it happening. First, there was a phone-quality video of the helicopter falling out of the sky taken by a tourist in the village. Then there were more videos of the helicopter crash site with people trying to extinguish the flames. There is also videos of people pulling out Group Captain Varun Singh, who was the only survivor but a week later passed away from injuries. More footages of ambulances and rescue team rushing frantically to the scene to find survivors. And there were videos of Modi and the Indian Defense Minister going to their funeral.
