Thank you. Wish I would have seen this 3.5 yrs ago. Started with the small lies about other women, didn’t want to hurt my feelings, he felt guilty. Turns out he was the slickest liar I have ever encountered. My gut said something was off but I found the truth on the big lies eventually. He exhibited all these things. Live, learn and be better!

Your videos help me alot! I used to hang on because I didn't want to be alone, or I didn't want another failed relationship. I ask God to show me the man I deserve! I would rather be alone than lied to and beat up and almost killed for a man who doesn't deserve me. I have been over a year and I'm patient and I'm just fine! I ended something on Thursday that didn't seem like it was going anywhere after I ran into him with another woman. I texted later as I ran into him while I was out with friends. My text was you never mentioned your friend before and she didn't seem to know who I was. Take care 🙏. He responded that he did mention her, gaslighting me. I deleted all of his texts after that. He did much of the red flags you pointed out prior. I'm grateful that it happened as it gave me an out from a potential situationship which I'm not looking for. Bless you for doing what you're doing!!

Something else to think about: LIARS also use "gaslighting" to flip the script. Women have better intuition and are (supposed?!?) to be more intelligent; it's time to USE your intuition for your own sanity and peace.

Thank you for this video. I found out that my now ex boyfriend lied to me. I overlooked some small lies earlier on but trust was gone. Then he hid from me chatting to an ex who kept trying to initiate intimacy. He is now deleted as a contact, I've deleted all our messages because i don't want to see when he is online. I need to move on but my heart is breaking. This all happened about 24 hours ago. This video was sent from God. I'm beyond hurt. I can't believe that someone i only showed love could be so cruel.

My ex stood me up on Mother's Day. Lied and said the mother of their child had a car accident. Had the nerve to show the stock image of a wrecked car. He doesn't know. I know what his BM looked like 3 weeks later she posted a pic of her and their daughter on vacation.....the pic of the wrecked car looked bad. Anyway, my instincts said he lied. He never apologized or said Happy Mothers Day, and we haven't spoken since.

Oh goodness, all of this is so familiar. Several points are basically describing narcissistic behaviors. I lived with a narcissist for 23 yrs and it was so toxic. When I finally got the courage to leave, I was literally so down on myself that I thought I would never feel good about myself ever again. Almost 3 years later, I'm happy to say that I feel good about myself, I have forgiven him for his behaviors, but I still have not forgotten them and understand that allowing him or anyone else treat me in this manner is not acceptable. Therefore, I have established boundaries in these situations.

Stephan, I was listening to this video while I was driving yesterday and I got goosebumps because of how accurate everything you said is! I ended things with my ex two days ago and one of the major reasons among others that I did so was because of the little white lies. He told me I had trust issues, but it all started when he wasn't truthful to me over the smallest things. He said I should give him grace and trust him after he made the mistake of lying to me before. I told him he hasn't shown me any reason to start trusting him as he still got defensive, turned the tables on me, and was very manipulative. Everything you said in this video, he did. Throughout the whole relationship he made me out to be distrustful, crazy, and unfair, but he was so good at manipulating and gaslighting me that I naturally became something I wasn't. If I told you some of the lies and how ridiculous they were and how the timelines and story would always change, you would feel sorry for me staying in the relationship as long as I did. But since then I have mentally checked out and I have not cried for this man since I broke up with him. I just feel airy and light right now. I took my peace back.

If you call out a liar, you will get another lie, he's trying to flip it, it's a defense mechanism, he's defending his ego, don't ignore the red flags, let him have his delusion, walk away, respect yourself, you cannot change his habits, say 1 prayer for him, and let it go.

Thank you for this. It’s 3,4,and 5 for me. It’s the lack of accountability (I did that because you didn’t give me what I needed and you were always talking down to me), me pointing out what’s wrong and explaining how he’s not getting what he wants because I’m done giving and not receiving/ being reciprocated equally. It’s the “it’s your fault I did that because you did something that pissed me off and that’s how I reacted or I needed to feel validated (i.e. he needed an ego boost because he f’d up and I pointed it out) so he’ll blame his actions on you. Last, it’s the back and forth when you bring something up even if it’s no where near comparable “oh but you did this or what about when you did that or you did the same thing” and so on. Deflecting level 10 every time you bring up something that’s a real issue, them they storm off if you don’t back down. Been done that, they get better at it the more the get to know how you function.

Before you go all JUDGMENTAL on the men, especially the good men, make sure you do your DUE DILIGENCE to (learn how to) JUDGE and be JUDGED likewise. This Stephan this! I speak from personal experience - he displayed almost all of the traits you have mentioned. He was a liar, but not so good so he kept his mouth shut as he knew I would catch him out due to the inconsistencies. What I have learnt is this - value yourself and your peace. Life is much better now - I have peace. On a separate note, my sister displays all of these behaviours - and to put it mildly she is severely dysfunctional and weird. You cannot trust her at all.

He was also a crook, stole quite a bit of money from me that I kept in my draw for emergency, LIED about stealing that too, who stole it, a ghost I said to him, there's only me and YOU living here. Did you tell your buddy what he was doing was wrong?! That's what I wanna know. Did you make him accountable as his friend, and kindly inform him how abusive his destructive behavior is? Men should call men out in their toxic behavior, as women should call other women out also for our toxic behaviors.

True. But that doesn't mean they will change. I know most women feel that they can change guys...but you can't. So most of us know to avoid those guys as best as possible. That's what we teach ma. It is what it is.

@jayc5756 isn't it the mentality of it is what it is that allows these behaviors to continue unchecked? I won't try to force anyone to change, but I will let someone know when their behavior is disrespectful to others. I have lost friends and family for standing up for myself and others, and I'm okay with that. Abuse, even emotional abuse, is still abuse, and looking the other way is not okay. Would you turn away when someone was getting beaten? Why then is it okay to when someone is getting beaten down emotionally? That's my take on what Stephan said about his friend anyway. Turning a blind eye, keeping your mouth shut to keep the peace, not wanting to stir the pot etc, etc, never saved anyone, but it does send the message that you aren't a safe support system for someone being emotionally abused. I was that person needing the support once, and now I am that support for others. I won't change ppl, I walk away if my boundaries are violated. I state my boundaries, and let ppl do their thing, and I'm clear when someone violates those boundaries or mistreat another human that their behaviour is not okay, and then walk away. Let ppl be themselves, but don't just let them think treating people the way Stephan described is acceptable. That's my take on it anyway. If he was my friend, I would check him and his behaviour, as his friend, lovingly, and then decide if I want to be friends with someone who can so easily mistreat others without a care for their emotional well being.

Can you make a video about his need to hang out with his female friends… and wants to hang out with those he dated and slept with ( few months to few years before meeting his girlfriend). And he says he can seperate physical stuff and just Bcz he’s a man doesn’t mean he is going to F anyone with V. Lol and then gets defensive that I cant come between him and his friends and he can hang out with anyone he wants. Note I only had issues with this female friend that is into getting involved in polygamous relationship that she also works with him. And is 15 yrs younger . She lived with my ex for 2 months too. When her poly guy took off to Europe with his gf , she then had no one and started msging my ex to hang out… night time too. He would tell me to be fair but I felt uncomfortable but he wouldn’t understand and would say u can come too but if u can’t life still goes on …. He lacked me as insecure and paranoid. And didn’t understand why I feel uncomfortable with ( intimate) women from his past that are in the picture. Also when we went out only two of us he would comment on other girl’s physical features … eg she got nice boobs , nice hair, nice nose etc look her nail polish it’s nice … but then wouldn’t comment on mine I find this weird but he said he can never be that focused on me !

Yeah we broke up a month ago but he left me as I’m insecure and I got issues and he doesn’t want drama and why I have issues with other women in his past or that no woman in his past had issues with him commenting about other women’s ass or eyes etc lol apparently other women he dated either laughed or agreed when he said oh that woman has nice boobs or nice hair etc they didn’t get jealous ! My issue was not jealousy but rather disrespect and etiquette… So since break up I’m just wondering if it’s me or is it really him

I just found out yesterday that my ex husband had another baby while I had just given birth to his son and lied for a whole year. I met the baby at my son’s birthday party and kept deflecting the fault onto everything and everyone else. I just told him I didn’t know my son had a new brother. Didn’t try to fight it

My husband made a secret instagram to look at women. He’s had it for over a year! He has also been visiting bikini coffee shops. I literally had no idea. We have three kids but now I can’t trust him. I don’t know what to do ladies. He says he’s sorry and was being selfish. Should I be mad?

Yes you have every right to be hurt, however what is it that you feel is the best way to handle this? Is it a dealbreaker or can it be fixed? You to need to talk to hubby and if you still want to work it out, both seek therapy and together. Sending up prayers for you and your family 🙌🏽🙏🏽💯.
