It's ok Kenzie, I'm 70 years old and thought those same thoughts when my littles were tiny. They r both in their early 40s now with beautiful families of their own, and thriving. Now I get to have a new best time with them and my 6 tiny grandbabies. Enjoy everything u do and live. It keeps getting better.

Perfect description of what most likely ALL people go through at some time. During one particularly difficult time in my life I wanted to be happier, like I normally had been most of my life. So, I researched and found this book called the, "The Happiness Project". One statement in that book was especially meaningful to me. The days are long, but the years are short. The whole book is FULL of wonderful ideas and suggestions about living in the moment and treasureing each day. It is a good read and maybe you would like it, too.

Some of the contents high school has for your kids to learn are a bit tough to teach as parents, but yeah. I mean, why would a kid need to know how to calculate the roots of a quadratic function in order to use it in real life? Unless they plan to go to college, which may have an admission exam... for which there will be a preparation course they can hire somewhere out there

@@gonsalomon Quadratic equations can be used to calculate the area of a space, the speed of an object at a particular time, the curve a piece of equipment, the optimisation of profit in a business, the trajectory of a thrown object and in video games such as Angry Bird BUT if a kid doesn't want to learn how to find the roots of a quadratic equation, he or she is welcome to be a digger driver.

Just a tip when digging a ditch like that if you don't want to get dirt all over your road. Dig the ditch pulling towards the area you haven't excavated yet instead of towards the road. It will keep it much cleaner and faster because you will get a full bucket every time. Also that excavator has a hing point at the bottom of the boom arm so it can easily dig this way. That's what they are made for.

I'm grateful that you share both the ups and downs of your evolving life story with your audience. With that said, know that none of your uncomfortable moments are for not...even if you prefer to fast-forward through them, but rather necessary...because they are there to help make you stronger, more informed, while adding incredible wisdom. I'm sure there are times (off-camera) when you want to scream in frustration with the overwhelming responsibilities. Your solutions of giving yourself a break do work wonders. I was a single parent when my two girls were about the same ages as your two. No family around, working full time and broke. Baby steps, you learn what works and what doesn't. Between the two of you and the laughter, it will get you through the rougher times. Yes, take the blessings when you receive them. Hi Mckenzie, I understand exactly how you feel. I've been there. However, because of all I've been through, now that I look back and my kids are grown I watch videos of moms like you do to make things work at least on their videos. I don't know how effective their system works, but what I've seen is something they all have in common. 1. They pre plan to the minute detail. They take weeks, even months to plan and troubleshoot misshaps that may come along the way. They prepare meals weeks in advance and freeze them so when they need it, all they do is thaw it a bit and put it in the microwave. That way they don't have to worry about cooked food. Pack plenty of first aid and over the counter meds just in case. You can maybe build a shed or buy another container to store plenty of toys for the kids to keep them busy, including a kiddy pool and other things. Maybe in the container you can hook up a hammock for you to sit and read a book or surf the net if you have reception. Who knows? Anything you can store in there to keep you entertained while Spencer is working. I'm sorry your hands are tied, but that's the way it is when the children are so small someone has to be with them while the other works. Those are suggestions so you can do what you want to and not feel constricted to not be able to do anything.

Kenzie I have filled you and Spencer from just about day one of your Adventures. You two are one of the great examples of a young couple carving their own way in the world and taking the path less traveled. We all anticipate and watch the videos you make with envy wishing we would have done this when we were younger. It's very easy for us to say don't be hard on yourself for getting down once in a while. But most of us have been in your mind set many times in our lives and reflect later on in life as to how we arrived at that state. I'm 69 and had my fair share of times that we wish we could change. But if we could change the would we still be the person we are, who knows. All I know is I would like to say thank you to both of you. You and Spencer are great parents and your children are adorable. Thanks again from Kevin from NS Canada. Krap that was long winded......😅

Thank you for including us in your adventure! My husband and I have been watching from the beginning and we love forward to your next video. Life can take a toll on us no matter what we are doing in our lives. It’s called normal. Yeah maybe things will change in the future but enjoy your now. You’ll never have any regrets.

McKenzie I can appreciate your editorial. It was only after having children that I became almost obsessed with the future. Now 35 years later all 3 of our adult children have exceeded our thoughts on where, what and who they might become! And they all 3 are happily married and gave us 9 grandkids and they honor us with their time and attention. I even have a weekly movie night with my middle child. My oldest daughter. Give today the attention necessary to your family so that the future can be the best possible place to live.

Hello Kenzie, I want to thank you for sharing your life with us. Right now, so much is happening in our country and in the world, and none of it is pleasant, so I am always looking forward to your episodes because they are so much filled with love. Every piece of what you share it's so beautiful. Your episodes help us to scape the world we are living right now. Thank you Kenzie, and thanks to your husband and beautiful kids.

Girl you need to start counting the blessings. You have way more going for you than most young moms. Get a journal and everyday write down 3-6 things that are amazing about where you and your family are in your lives. Give yourself a break. This life is simply amazing if you start to just smell the pines. All of us moms have been through those feelings. You are not alone. My sweet older neighbor gave me this advice and it sure helped me.

Kenzie you spoke some very wise words to live by when you were talking about not wishing your life away. Live for the moment and tomorrow will take care of it's self. Thanks for the funny little interaction between you and Spencer at the beginning of the video. I love when you include those in your videos. May God Bless and Keep your Family Safe 💞 Be Happy 😂 Safe and Healthy 💞

Thank you for sharing what you're feeling; I can definitely sympathize with you and you do such a great job with the kids and all that you do. This time will go by in the blink of an eye, even when it seems to be lasting forever. You'll love the memories and those two sweet children that you have, are so worth the time and energy. Don't feel guilty for feeling overwhelmed; all mothers feel that way at times and it doesn't mean we don't love our kids. Have a good rest of the week. (from Sandi)

They say Rome wasn't built in a day, your driveway will take a little bit longer as well. That is a lot of work. Being a full time mum takes a lot of your time up, it is not easy being away from your home. Now you have a new sweet person doing the filming. Stay safe, love from Mike. ❤

Really appreciate you sharing like you did. It was a good reminder for myself as well because I definitely look at problems and make them bigger than they really are. Enjoy all the little things, especially time with those babies. My son is about to turn 17 and it feels like he was just 5 yesterday.

Yes, it ain't easy, but nothing worth having is! I admire what you kids are doing, and have MAD RESPECT for both of you. Plus, your little curtain climbers are just adorable...lol. You have grown in wisdom and it is hard to make sure not to let the little things stress you. You are a wonderful mom and voicing your feelings will go a long way in keeping the big things close to your heart while also passing on that ability to your children. There are no problems, just challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. (This from another grandmother, who had a great mentor at a young age that helped me build that mindset and reinforce it daily)
