I know you have said you are going to change your intro, but please keep this one. I figured out this evening that as soon as I hear the music and I see the truck backing up, I let out a deep breath and feel so calm watching the scenes pass by. Of course you will do what you feel like doing I just wanted to tell you that as the intro you have right now is perfect and I hope I am not the only person that finds it calming and gets me ready to enjoy what you two are up to at the moment.

Love watching the progress you two are making and the projects you guys are doing, keep it up. Love your music selections too reminds me of the big band era. Just a suggestion to help make things easier. When drilling steel add some kind of oil, preferrably cutting oil to keep the bit cooler and drill last longer.

I don't like to see people move into a home before it's finished, but I was impressed to see you punch out that bedroom and get everything done except the baseboard. Most people move in and never finish the build. I don't see that happening here. If I recall, you said you just needed to get some baseboard to finish it. Are you going to mill it? Keep up the good work. One room at a time and you will get the inside finished in no time!
@CantContainUs

Hello !!! Love the videos and have watched 90% … I too live in Missouri and on the hunt for off grid properties… I seen in one of your videos you had to get inspected… curious about that and I know counties are different… from what I understand you don’t need permits or inspections if you have over 3 acres and you’re out of the city !!! Can you reflect on that if you can … appreciate it and the videos definitely are a blessing to me so thanks
@CantContainUs
@CantContainUs Жыл бұрын
The only inspections we needed were a septic inspection ( missouri is really passionate about protecting their environment) and a fire inspection from our local fire department. As you said every county is different though. A few counties over from us you dont need any inspections, just have to get a septic permit. Which basically consists of just paying the county $40 lol

Hey Cody I know you know how to do a lot of things bro but I got something to let you know on your sawmill when you put your blocks down the holes should be facing straight up that gives it more strength to hold a lot The way you got them now that's the weakest part of the block so you might want to look it up and let me know bro I'm usually pretty right on a bunch of things so see if you can't get that fixed for us alrighty thank you bro

There's such a thing as a soccer mom headboard? Who knew! lol On a more serious note... Girl you better be careful with that hydraulic wood splitter. I worked on a young man who chopped one of his hands completely off with one back in my rescue days. Luckily our rescue efforts paid off and we got him to the hospital in time to have it reattached. So please be careful and mindful of exactly what you're doing.

You know on your winch lifting that log like that if you would use a cable and hook up a pulley system you can double or triple that cable to pull it puts it slower pull and easier pull you gear it just right with them pulleys you should be able to use a drill instead of that hand crank
