The Maidan coup in 2014 was orchestrated and funded by America. US senator John McCain was present on stage giving a public speech at Maidan Square in Kyiv on 15 Dec 2013, cheering the crowd in overthrowing president Yanukovych, who was not pro-Western. Standing at McCain’s left side was neo-Nazi Svoboda Party leader, Oleg Tyahnybok, who worked with neo-Nazi groups like the Right Sector and C14, who set fire at Maidan Square for three months from Nov 2013 to Feb 2014. After 200 died at Maidan, President Yanukovych was forced to resign. This was exactly the same modus operandi from the CIA playbook as used in Hong Kong 2019 and Kazakhstan in 2022. After the Maidan coup, Victoria Nuland was recorded over a telephone conversation in handpicking Yatsenyuk as the new prime minister of Ukraine, also Klitschko and Tyahnybok who both would receive orders directly from Washington to work with Yatsenyuk from behind. This strongly suggests that Washington directly funded the neo-Nazi party Svoboda. There’s also a video showing her giving a public speech saying the USA spent 5 billion dollars in switching Ukraine to pro-Western. This has been a government that represents Washington’s interests rather than the Ukrainian people’s interests. If we see two people fighting in the street, the best way to stop the fight is to calm them down. If we want them to escalate the fight, we give weapons. This is what America has been doing since 2014, shipping arms to Ukraine and training the Ukrainian army and even the neo-Nazi militia. Ukraine military budget rose from 1% in 2014 to 7% in 2021, while Ukraine being the third poorest country in Europe. Zelensky was listed by the Pandora Paper in the corruption name-list, and he was exposed to possess 1.3 Billion dollars in his personal account. If Zelensky really cares about his people, make peace with Russia, and all his people can go home. Russia’s three demands are reasonable and a bargain, compared to millions of Ukrainians becoming refugees. But instead, he dispatched guns to the people to engage in street battles, asked for the West’s military support and requested for no-fly zone which means extending the war to other European countries. It just makes no sense. He has at every stage the absolute control in his hand to save his people from suffering, but he prefers to be a superstar. Just a while ago, Alexei Navalny was being funded by the NED and Mi6 to topple Putin. And in Jan 2022, a coup attempt took place in Russia’s neighbor Kazakhstan. This war is all along the USA’s attempt to take on Putin and Russia. The main reason is Putin has become the forerunner in de-dollarization. He already sold all US treasury bills. Putin and China proposed to use Euro for oil trades in Eurasia. Eurasia has 70% of world’s population, and America has just 4% of world’s population and it is isolated from Eurasia. Therefore Euro is a serious threat to the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. Now, 40% of dollar bills in existence in America was printed in the last 12 months due to the pandemic. The USA debt has amounted to 30 Trillion, and there’s less and less takers of US treasury, because whenever the USA prints a lot of money, these countries’ foreign reserves devalue. The dollar is in a creditability crisis. If Euro or another currency replaces the dollars as the world’s reserve currency, America will be in deep deep trouble. As former Americans NSA chief Zbignew Brzezinski put it: “It is IMPERATIVE that no Eurasian challenger emerges capable of dominating Eurasia and thus of also challenging America”. Wars in Europe would strengthen the dollar. Remember after WW II, Europe, Russia, Japan and China were devastated, but America emerged as the world leader. This could be a repeat of that. Another reason is the Military Industrial Complex’s projects in the Middle East have wound down. The focus is now in Europe and China-Taiwan. America has a war economy. That’s why America has been in wars for 230 years in its 246 years history. Lockheed Martin alone has an annual turn over of 60 billion, the same as the GDP of a country like Bulgaria. And Lockheed Martin is just 1/13 of America’s military budget. Wars stop, payrolls stop. Then there’s the Nord Stream II gas pipeline. The USA warned Germany and Russia that the construction of the pipeline must be stopped, but it was completely nevertheless. This is the USA’s reaction. Why the USA allowed a gas pipeline from Russia to Germany which passed through Ukraine, but not allowed Nord Stream II pipeline which directly runs from Russia to Germany? Because Nord Stream II avoids the USA’s proxy state Ukraine, and the control of energy supply to Europe change hand from USA to Russia. Also, Biden is heading to the mid-term election with a low support rate. Domestically there’s little could be done. If America could reap benefits from the war in Europe and the Far East, then Biden could gain more support. As you read, another conflict is already in the making. American weapons already shipped to Taiwan, and Mike Pompeo visited Taiwan on 4th Mar 2022. China has a clear red-line: not to challenge the One-China policy. Just like in Russia’s case, where Putin’s red-line was used by America to push Russia into a war, America will use Tsai to push across China’s red line and trigger a war.

Has the US ever stopped to even think of the global economic disaster if incites another conflict in Asia against China? Coz they certainly didn't think at all when it comes to the mess in Ukraine. Most of us in Asia are struggling to recover economically from the pandemic as it is! Does anyone even have the testicles to throw that question in its face? Despite all the freedom & democracy that America promotes, has the world become either completely voiceless or totally drowned out by America's hubris on the matter? The point of NATO post 91’ was the antagonist of western imperialism to provoke conflict, expand and justify its budgets. That’s the best logical answer. One could definitely argue it was used as a tool to insulate North America and keep fights abroad, while perpetuating the dollar dominance. Coming from a family that’s witnessed this same grotesque philosophy enacted in my family in Canada (suppress development to comfort the rich and lazy). I can say whole heartedly we became the driving force of this conflict in our inability to respect boundaries and support stability.
@platosbeard4449
@platosbeard4449 2 жыл бұрын
The point of NATO from its founding in 1947 was to maintain western imperialism, protect capitalist exploitation, and contain Bolshevism. The Soviet Union was exhausted and destroyed after WWII (in which they bore the highest cost) and was in no position to expand. In fact, the Soviets abandoned the Greek communists who had been the main partisan force that uprooted the Nazis from Greece, and let Britain crush them brutally in order to secure a détente with the west. NATO was establish to conduct a Cold War of attrition against the mortal enemy of capitalist oligarchy (Bolshevism) and prevent revolution from spreading across Western Europe post WWII due to the example of the success of communism in the Soviet Bloc. (It is the same principle at play with the permanent strangulation of Cuba by the US.) Having succeeded in contributing to the collapse of the Soviet bloc, it only makes sense that NATO should expand its terrorism to other parts of the world. Understanding the political economy of capitalism makes it clear that the US and its allies were almost bound to make the error of over extension which is leading to the eventual collapse of the western bloc. Speedily may that collapse come.

why do you get to speak for Eastern Europeans? Detachedly typing this drivel in your comfy home when Ukraine is blown to smithereens? Rus shot itself in the foot by allowing corrupt oligarchs into power. Now resorting to Ukrainian blood to forestall the inevitable repeat of 1905 and 1917. I know real Russians know this is true, and I hope them the best, they want to integrate into EU and don’t want to be dependent on China. They’d rather be free than rich. End the invasion, stop bombing and condemning young conscripts to hell.

@@ponkacbg1969 When Hitler occupied France during WWII he won over some French politicians, bankers and intellectuals by saying that he wanted to establish a "New Order" in Europe albeit a Germanic dominated one. After the war, it was the Germans who pushed for the European Union to be established. The phrase, "New World Order" was mentioned several times by George Bush and the British Prime Minister Gordan. It has never been fully defined, for Americans, anything that begins with the word, "NEW" is enticing. To me, the phrase "New World Order" means a one world government filled with elite wealthy globalists who want to control the world's population with one digital currency; want to control where citizens can travel; want to control what you see on the internet; on television; and newspapers and instill 1984 Orwellian "groupthink" where freedom of expression and thought are discouraged if not outlawed. Where there is no second amendment right to bear arms; no freedom of press; and where everything you do and where you go is being tracked. The New World Order will assign you a "Social Score" which defines where you can go and what government services will be provided to you. China is doing this now! This is what Biden; the World Economic Forum and other elite non-profit organizations want. Just look at the World Economic Forum poster child, Canadian PM Trudeau, he denies right to assemble and present grievances; he legalizes search and seizure of bank assets; he has denied travel involving passports and he has scanned social media for people that he wants to claim are terrorists. This is what New World Order means!

It would, if the operation was limited to Donbas. I, personally, support the operation. But looking at strictly from the established rules, the operation is not justified, because of its scope. But the Anglo-American invasion of Iraq in 2003 threw out the established rules into the dustbin. After that event, talking about established rules is meaningless. Established rules are not useful when dealing with rabid dogs or those playing with them. Firm action is needed for the safety of everyone, including those playing with the rabid dog.

I disagree, Ukraine were letting NATO military inter it’s border. Russia has every right to protect it’s security. People don’t realize that if Ukraine became NATO and if NATO ever wanted to sanction more, Russia would be completely blocked off and would have to fight NATO by itself which be impossible. Russia would just starve to death just to protect Ukraine sovereignty, sorry but that’s not how real world works. Russia didn’t do anything the US wouldn’t have done. The only thing Putin can be blamed for is that he didn't do it in 2014 already, too many unnecessary lives lost and destroyed in those 8 years. Ukraine also wouldn't have been prepared for it, not armed and not trained by the West for 8 years either. Officially, the premise of the Cold War was based on the existential threat of communism but suddenly, that threat was gone... It is in the Russia's history of the 1990's that we must look to understand what happened. The expansion of NATO took place as if nothing had changed and the Soviet Union was still with us. What the Pentagon feared more than anything was budget cuts and they would do anything to prevent that, even start a war...

I appreciate a sound analysis of the current crisis in Europe (amidst a planetary Climate Warming crisis, that is). Indeed, US & Allies maximised brutal oil-based pofit taking after the USSR's dissolution ... Irak, Libya, etc. - In Eastern Europe, however, it's been a different story altogether since 1991. Through FREE democratic elections Peoples voted to become independent states (Ukraine, by a 73% majority in 2014). These Peoples want CHANGE from the previous oppressive & inefficient/corrupt regime/s! Good on them, there's a need for transparency & accountability within all governments to gain Peoples' trust. Sadly, these Human Rights concerns dwindle in the face of the geopolitical tug-of-war for coal, oil & gas. So, where does China, a powerful nations WITHOUT coal, oil & gas truly stand? PS: Russia would never have dared to invade Ukraine without the 350 Mio $ per day from oil & gas revenues!!?

Ukraine far Right Sector etal backed by Obama Administration overthrew the State of Ukraine in a Coup d'etat 2014 ! Your idea of free and Democratic elections sounds very totalitarian and obviously made Ukraine a pariah state in Putin's eyes ! Nazifying cuddling upto NATO killing thousands of indigenous Ukrainian Russian Civilians in Donbas and burning Russian Civilians alive in Odessa ! Not to mention putting Russias 2 thousand klicks border with Ukraine in jeopardy !! Oh but it's ok they are doing it in the name of freedom !! But, Who's ?

But these were people of color and not White people. There are 8 other wars happening in other parts of the world right now, but all we hear and see in the news is Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.

I agree with Mr. Jacques and hope that his prediction of a ceasefire within two months is correct. I am sympathetic to Russia's concerns about NATO encroachment but, like Jacques, I think Russia made a terrible mistake by invading Ukraine. Among other things it has given the west a huge propaganda victory.

Has it tho? The west's double standards and racism has been exposed now more than ever. The west may feel safe in it's propaganda echo chamber, but the rest of the world does not sit idly by. The fact that you and many other people (like the entire west) think it's okay for Ukraine to shell the shit out of it's own civilians because they want to speak Russian and because they do not accept the US backed coup of 2014 is telling. But somehow when Big Bear steps in to end the nazi rot in Ukraine is the most horrible thing ever. Russia is a 1000 more justified to militarily intervene in Ukraine than the US empire and it's western lapdogs have EVER been in the dozens of imvasions and atrocities committed on countries on the other side of the planet, based on devious lies and pure desires of conquest and plunder. If Hitler was stopped by the Red Army/allied forces attacking them before the Nazi war and extermination machine took full form, would we still decry that act as "war is never justified"? Fvck no. Fvck nazis and fvck NATO/western hegemony. I am glad someone is finally challenging them head on. I do not wish to live under uncle Sam's boot anymore. I want sovereignty. Only a handful of countries are sovereign nations in this world (my NATO member one sure isn't one of them) and even less of them have citizens which aspire to true self-determination.

@@robertstan298 NATO needs to be taken apart, to put it gently. Without NATO, maybe the world bully would take a step back. But USA wants to go after Russia regardless. You can see that they are not giving up. Either Russia relents or USA relents. Who wants war, itches for war more than the USA? So clearly, there is no compromise. Nuclear war seems inevitable.
