Exactly! I finished the game 3 times. I have almost every single achievement yet I have never heard nor seen most of these dialogues. He does such a great job with this serie.

Yeah, bribing works pretty much all the time so I don't bother showing that approach. It's implicit that you can bribe your way through any dialogue check.

Yeah, I definiitely remember that. Not sure why it didn't pop up, I'm sure I had money on me when I met the crimps. Maybe that was changed in between versions?

@@SequentialGamer_KCD I played the Epic Games version, I don`t remember exactly when but I did this quest early this year. I didn`t let Pious escape though, I sent him to Rattay in my playtrhough.

Hey @zesty_lime, you're welcome! There used to be a small window in the early morning when there were no patrols, so unless you already knew what you were doing it was off to jail all the time.

I was having a conversation with someone on twitter about this a while back actually,. Ironically I don't care too much for achievements so you've probably got way more than I'd have if I was playing on steam.

@@SequentialGamer_KCD I'm not much of an achievement hunter myself, I try to get them all only after I've finished a game a good amount of times and I don't really have anything else to do other than self imposed challenges. Your vids and houseroules are great btw, really appreciate there's still someone bringing good content about kcd, even though I wish warhorse announced a sequel already

True, bribing is almost always an option. The reason why I don't tend to include it is because usually it bypasses gameplay but cash can usually get you out of a spot.

@@SequentialGamer_KCD You can find Pious' money though stashed outside the monastery, and if you give it to the recruiter, he says its Jezhek's money and that you can keep it, it's only 500 groschen, but if you pay your own money its 3k I think

Lucas does tell you that he doesn't know of anybody like Antonious in Vlashim but it's evidence that Antonious isn't being truthful. Basically it's on the same level as reading the novice's book. Not quite direct evidence that he's Pious, but altogether they do suggest he's the most likely

Correct, you *have* to get the die in order to enter Vranik. You can go up to its gate before that but there's no way to enter.

@@SequentialGamer_KCD Wait, so after you talk to the bandits in the church will the innkeeper tell you about Vranik? If you go this route, you get to Vranik (without the dice) and they won't let you in. Go back to the swamp, light the fire...kill bandits and take their dice. Return Vranik and you'll get in? Never having to enter the cloister/become a monk? Pious' punishment is to be left in -prison- the cloister? Would that work?

@@sonpacho maybe going to check it out myself in my actual playthrough, but I do recall that I tried that the first time I played the game but you couldnt make a fire at the spot if you didnt enter the cloister at least once before in frame of the quest. I did open the door to the "hidden entrance" where a guard is sitting sometimes, also where the cloister workers are and left through it after the first day and could lit the fire at the spot, but didnt have any prove for pious

Pious didn't actually organize the raid, he subcontracted his group to Runt but they didn't know what it would involve. That's why they fled and why Runt's men hunted them down. He's a thief but they don't seem to be murderers.

So I did the right thing by arresting him. Nice.

That's the light armour perk, you get it if you're wearing only light armour.

@@Flat_Earth_Addy It makes it much easier to dodge. Not part of the perk but being lighter makes you run faster so if you need to flee it's very useful to be light.
