You create the most relaxing fishing videos I've ever watched. I enjoy listening to your voice and your fishing skills are excellent. Nothing more enjoyable on a Sunday morning than watching your videos with a cup of hot coffee. Well, except maybe fishing. Lol

Matt, great content as usual. So glad you are honest with us about fishing 4-5 hours with not much to show for your time but then you switched to the frog and made some magic. Lots of fisherman online just show the highlight reel and it makes it seem like they are always catching fish but you reveal the reality that it takes work to put together great content like this video.

. Matt, that lake reminds me a bunch of Beauty Lake in Todd County, Minnesota. My mom's brother had a cabin on it when i was growing up. The shoreline was choked up with Lillypads and wild rice. Back in the 1970s, that lake held huge bass and pike. bluegills too!

Same, it's nice to see and honest fishing show. I once met someone who worked on some of the older fishing shows and a lot of those guys would spend a week on a lake and place all that footage to make it seem like one day!

During the summer months I pretty much always fish topwater, sometimes I'll switch to a jig or worm if I go a couple hours without any action but usually I can find something willing to bite. The footage is just so much more exciting with some good topwater strikes!

I never fished with top water lures in my life, until I started watching your channel ! Thank you for showing me the tips and tricks on those ! I have a small pond near my home where Largemouth Bass lives and all I was catching was 9-10" fish and then one day I caught a 14" on a flopper popper and I was so excited about it !

I'm a huge topwater guy. something about the frog strike just gets my blood pumping and nerves racing, especially in such a setting. dude, I don't know how you can contain yourself? And not that its really needed, because you do everything just fine on your own, but in such cases like seen at 9:40, man I wish you had a cameraman who could zoom in on that blowup! that daRn near looked like someone threw a huge rock in that water! the vid just doesn't do it justice for the untrained eye. Awesome job as always!

Hey man, cant wait to watch this video. Things are finally picking up on our valley lake. Crappies having been hitting well our last three times out, catching some 14 inchers. We went out yesterday and caught some walleye (finally), more crappies and even the smallies heated up. Hopefully its a sign they are putting the feedbag on and we will have a fun mid to late fall. Cheers!

Great fishing and some impressive bass. I'm sure there is many more fish under these pads but sometimes they are looking for other baits I always have a rod with a 4 inch grub for back up when I throw a topwater and it looks like they should be in there but don't hit my topwwater. And I spend a fair amount of time on the edges of these large pad fields some times they are hitting the bait coming and going from under cover. Still very relaxing and always a great adventure with you.
