Yeah apparently this applies to all service/working dogs. You're supposed to completely ignore them. I only learned this a few years ago because of some youtube videos of people out with their working dogs having to confront people about not touching their dogs. It's sad how many people got angry and took it personally when the owners said they couldn't pet their dog.

@@sarahfields288 Absolutely! No one should ever touch another person's pet without permission first. Also it's well known that the smaller the dog, the more nippy they are. Because they are more easily overwhelmed. P.s. Pugs are awesome.

I have the impression from British television that council estates came out of the destruction of WW2 because there was a serious lack of housing. Aren't they some sort of more affordable homes for working class (not high income people). Here in the U.S., a trailer park isn't like a campsite. It's more like a neighborhood of mobile homes (trailers). They are usually more affordable and better than an apartment because you own it and have your own yard/garden, but pay rent for the land, trash road maintenance, etc. Depending on the size of the mobile home park and the amenities, it can be like a small town. Here a campsite would be a place to go on vacation with tents or camper/RVs that you drive and park there. It wouldn't be a place for permanent homes. My understanding is that the similarity between council estates and U.S. trailer parks is that rich people don't live there.

Re Council estates in the UK, they’re more like the projects in the US rather than trailer parks. They are mostly tower blocks and apartments. Trailers or caravans as we call them are usually used by the Traveler/gypsy community but they are mostly not on land that they own or rent. They tend to set them up anywhere they can which causes a lot of tension between locals and the authorities. Hope that makes sense.

The thing about Karl is that.. he's the type of guy that reads the headline of something and then fantasizes about the rest of the story.. Or he goes to the pub and talks with other "likeminded" people and they tell him something that someone told them that they heard from someone at work who heard it from their cousin that read it in a magazine... The result is these stories that is either 100% bullshit, or they have a slither of truth in them, but the "what happened is.." part is complete bullshit.. For instance, the thing about the face transplant. Yes it is true that around that time there was several news stories about a revolutionary new transplant where someone with a destroyed face got the face of someone else transplanted. But no, there was no book of faces, and no there was no transferrence of ideas or personality distortion because of the face. The operation was alot like taking a flab of skin from a thigh and using it in a place where someone had a severe burn or something like that.. It just happened to be a face from a recently dead organ donor. And after the operation the face didn't look anything like the donor because the underlying bone structure was completely different. All of that was probably written in the article that Karl read.. but he never got past the headline and maybe the first paragraph.. and we all know how newspapers and online news sites clickbait everything.. so he read the headline and his brain went into overdrive and he made the rest up, then went to the pub and asked his mates about it and they might have said they read the same thing and they started feeding eachother tidbits of made up information that they all swear is the actual truth.. and in the end Karl ends up with one of his insane stories..

A council house is not the same as a trailer park. It's just a house owned by the local council, some of these are located on estates with other council houses. These are usually cheaper houses but don't always mean that the people living in these areas are people on low incomes or criminals, etc. But usually because they are cheaper rent than buying a house then it can be a bad area due to low income and drugs etc

That picture that causes places to burn down and the only thing left intact is the painting ,is older than the 1980's. Likely to be many examples from different countries too. I think one I heard of featured clowns around a table. Why have a painting of clowns in the first place I don't know. There's also the painting that features a girl sometimes she's outside sometimes she's in the window. That was a story I read between the ages of 7-10 and yes freaked me out as we had a similar picture ourselves (but there was no girl anywhere, so that's alright.)

9:53 Well the only ones you’ll see over there you’ll find in pet stores. I can shed light on this: There’s not a single native species of hedgehog in the Americas, that’s still alive anyway, one of the only varieties, known as Amphechinus, an extinct species and live about 23 million years ago. So you’re best bet to see a wild one is to come here to Europe, where the European species occurs all over from Spain up to Britain, and further up to Finland and even into Russia, but it’s absent in Eastern Europe, notably Poland and Ukraine and Romania. It’s not doing so hot here in Britain either where it’s a native species, it’s classified as Red Listed (to indicate it’s close to extinction)

I found a hedgehog in a box in my garage, not thinking I assumed it was dead and put it on the compost heap, next day it was gone and I realised it was probably hibernating.....oops!

a woman in fance had a successful face transplant years ago, the thing about a face transplant is no matter who`s face you get you`ll always look like you as it`s the bone structure and muscle etc that determines you. so the facial skin is neutral and when its grafted it will adhere to what`s underneath it lol. but karl being karl thinks ou get to look in a catalogue of faces to pick on, it doesnt matter really lol.

Council estates are in no way the equivalent of trailer parks. Some of the tenants,of both are probably alike, though.

The projects would be more comparable to a council estate - I also used to go to school on the local estate in England, and someone was fined for keeping a horse in the front room - fucking mental individuals in these places

The story about personality changing and transplants isn't crazy. The more you look into it the more we're finding out how your stomach & other organs are connected to our brains. The heart and stomach are linked to behavior. It's still not understood completely but the stories are consistent
