Gatomon was able to retain her champion forms because she reached it naturally. Same as all the Digimon they encountered.

While DIGIMON is very clearly showing that there are demons and angels and by doing this it is very clear that there is no ulterior motives behind the designs or names as they clearly are reference to those things and depict both sides so things like devimon and angemon are the same as religious paintings/drawings while with Pokémon there is no clear depiction meaning people who think it’s satanic think that it’s trying to activity deceive

So when talking about the kids not being the first digi destined I have to burst the bubble. We get shown one of the teams and uh 4 of the 5 digimon become the Soverins while turning a Megerdramon into a bomb to take out the dark masters.

Fun Fact, did you know that down here in latin america, the mexican dub kept the songs? the the opening and ending got translated, but when a fight started we had Wada Koji blasting brave heart on japanese. Also, the dialogues were changed the least, basically a 1:1 translation. Man, when I grew up and found out you guys in america never had butterfly as an opening I was really surprised.

At 21:13, you say that LadyDevimon shows up as the secret fifth member of the Dark Masters. I'm curious where you got this from. I've never had the impression that LadyDevimon was a Dark Master, and I've never heard anyone but you say that either. I have always gotten the impression that she was Piedmon's strongest henchmen - kind of like how MetalSeadramon had Scorpiomon, Puppetmon had Cherrymon, and Machinedramon had WaruMonzaemon.

I’m probably going to get some flak but I hate apocalymon he feels like such an asspull at least MaloMyotismon had some buildup hes name dropped several times wizardmon’s ghost warns Gatomon about him (even if he wasn’t specific about it) and they constantly bring up the incident 3 years ago at the tv station they just randomly throw this guy in with no buildup and a rushed backstory piedmon was at least challenging and was buildup as the final boss. It’s like it in power rangers Lightspeed rescue diabolico was the main villain he’s defeated and the last second before the finale queen bansheera shows up with no buildup and only lasts for 2 episodes
