That daily quest thing hit me hard. In ESO, I get like a couple of minutes finishing my daily crafting writs, and during events it takes just about 5 minutes tops to complete most daily quests. Like, imagine playing a video game so that you can just do chores.

Sylvanas ➡ horrible story prevents us from killing genocidal undead lady for good and looks to lead up to an eventual redemption arc - Blizzard controversies ➡ worst of all hits, sexual misconduct - lawsuit, ends up in massive PR nightmare, more pissed players, lay-offs/departures, and more - Legion/BFA design failures ➡ yet more AP-like grinds, passives for soulbinds - Character development/RPG/Progression ➡ negatively-received reaction to story, very little story that involves "you" - Boosts ➡ TBC boosts, TBC paid pass for an expansion more than a decade old, potential for TBC tokens in the future - Content drought period ➡ period between BFA end and Shadowlands launch was a little over a year - Sub numbers lowest in WoD ➡ "Fastest selling" Shadowlands dips to a calculated all-time low (per research done by Bellular) - Rough game launches ➡ Diablo 2 Remastered rollbacks/errors, bonus: delays to Diablo 4 and Overwatch - 27:00 QoL features/fixes to expansion ~1yr later ➡ surprise, same thing happened again with a drop in player-base and even Asmon's not playing as much We've truly witnessed this game (and company) hit a new low. I don't have any faith in seeing it improve anytime soon. So many content creators and players alike moving on with no plans to return. Rich, Pint, Pyromancer, MadSeason, Preach, all gone - even Asmon's getting more fun out of streaming anything BUT WoW.

I absolutely adored Sylvanas, I liked her when she was "In da shadows" I was pretty upset when they made her Warchief... Because I fucking knew it from the get-go that she'd turn into Garrosh 2.0. Everybody fucking knew it, and whatever convoluted shit they are adding ontop of her now is NOT CHANGING THIS. It's still Garrosh 2.0, we still sieged Orgrimmar TWICE. BOTH had Old God weapons, and neither were "corrupted" by them. The writers behind Sylvanas are the type of people that'll fart out loud and then make their friend come and sniff it. "OH MAN THAT WAS A GODO ONE! AHAHA!" It's so sad! She was a good character because of her vagueness, but more importantly BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T HAVE THE SPOTLIGHT. Now she has the spotlight and they kept the vagueness... But in doing so, they just made her obnoxious and Disney villainy... But Sylvanas is not the first self-plugged Warchief in WoW... Green Jesus happened, let's never forget that... :/

when he talked about the faction change i remebered that back in wotlk we noticed in a random raid how to spot faction changers. the raidlead called to activate heroism....well this was a horde raid and no joke most of us didn´t knew until that point that Bloodlust had a diffrent name on alliance side. just imagine a dude repeatetly calling to activate heroism and then like 5 people ask "wtf is heroism?" (also we would then give it a new name for the rest of the run but that translates kind of badly since the german name for Bloodlust actualy translates to Battlerush or Fighting Frenzy so basicly what we called it for the rest of the run was "Hero Frenzy")

Everyone seems to forget Ruby Sanctum came out in Wrath between ICC and Cata, it came out 6/22 so it was actually only 6 months between that and Cata's release. Yes Ruby was only one boss and a ton of trash and mini bosses that didn't have loot but Halion in Heroic was pretty tough. And many guild weren't doing it because it was too hard so they ignore it.

What makes dailies bad is when they force them on you for character improvement. I think its awesome for mounts and toys and shit, like the serpent rep or the netherstorm drakes or actually cool tabards, or maybe backpieces now that theyre adding backpacks ect. Also, Once you have explored every flight path, it should unlock flying in the zone.

On the note of "what happens with classic once the final patch is released?" Warmane (wotlk private server) has been on 3.3.5 for like 4 years, and the biggest server still has 2k+ people in queue at almost all times, when the content is fun, people don't mind repeating it. I don't personally think classic content is as "fun" as wotlk, but I'd imagine the people who ahve been playing vanilla private servers for the last 10 years think so

Here's my experience with BFA. I spent time gaining 10 levels, only so I could access new gear and have fewer abilities. Getting new gear, meant I had to go grind something just so I could use it. I gained 10 levels to feel less powerful and get gear I can't use...?! Azurite gear is a cool idea but was terribly implemented, maybe it got better, but by then it was too late for me.

One way to make BoE items matter again during leveling is to change how hierlooms works. Change heirlooms so they are not armor anymore but enchants instead.

I thought Azerite armor was good as well, it just needed to be, more accessible. I love some of the effects, an early one of "cast consecration twice in a row" carried me through out the game. I honestly believe their should be a way to "level up" gear. Like I got a Trinket that summoned a monkey to help me fight, its pretty worthless but I wish I could go on continuing using it.

i miss the old daily system with all the different factions, it was the best in mop. Caring for my own little farm for cooking recipes etc. or getting exalted for the Cloudserpent Mounts

i like that resto druid has a buff build, alot of traits and stuff that a resto druid gets, buffs his party with aloooot of haste and mastery, wich is insane for the group if they are haste/mastery stacked on corruption

Honestly imo Azerite armor wasn't bad, I really liked the idea of it and it was fun trying new things with it. What I did hate about it though was that you had to grind on EVERY. SINGLE. ALT. CHARACTER. YOU. HAD. JUST to get these traits.

I have to agree on the video Especially leveling. Leveling the 1/2 fun part for vanilla Now it is all about WTS carry boost level to 60 What is worse are the raids. Its too easy for experienced raiders In the past holding a arcanite reaper is already awesome but now you can see almost every guild and raiders have legendary and bis in just 1-2 months Everything in PvE is nerfed but PvP is still as hard as ever because the honor system is basically as trash as before. The honor points rewarded are not balanced

the problem with prenerf for classic is that a lot of the nerfs came with bug fixes too

24:15 there's one thing Blizzard can do to fix it where players can actually play the game how they want and take the talent they want.. that's by mirroring the damage/healing output of spells if you got the azerite piece or trait available to choose. What I mean is, for example Talent A does 5k damage but Talent B does 3k damage.. however if you got an azerite piece or trait that buffed Talent A, it now does 10k damage, however on the flipside if you got the azerite piece or trait that buffs Talent B, it turns out to be a more powerful trait and causes talent B to also do 10k damage. So in otherwords, choose the talent you want as long as you got the azerite piece/trait available. There's the solution.. Let talents do similar or the same exact damage/healing outputs when buffed by an azerite trait, so then players can literally choose the talent that matches their playstyle and not be forced into a certain set of traits because they will be more powerful, rather instead they can choose the one that they want/like to use and that matches their playstyle/rotation. Doesn't even need to be so blatantly obvious either, rather could be done with traits that reduce cooldowns, such as if Talent A does 10k damage but has a 20 second CD, but you got an azerite trait that can reduce the cooldown of talent b which does 5k damage to 10 seconds down from 20 seconds... overall, either talent is doing 10k damage each 20 seconds.

I'm kinda new to wow but I've been researching a lot about the lore and to me it seems Sylvanas went from no name, shit tier character to one of the most influential characters in the entire planter for no reason in like no time. We went from a subpar level among the horde canonically to now out of nowhere someone stronger than Adult Anduin, Greymane and the new lich king ??? XDDDDD Like, at least make some sense here, I'd understand the old lady that builds the Legendary Kul Tiran fleet to be this powerful, but fucking Sylvanas? She has done nothing for the horde or in general to become this strong, don't even bring the deal she made, that's basically saying aah this Murloc is now as strong as Deathwing cause he made a deal in shadowlands...

this is why i like ESO, it has a subscription and yes you have to pay to play the game, BUT, the game is only $20 on steam and regualarly goes on sale for $10, and you do not need the subscription to play, you can also trade gold ingame for crowns and get every DLC INGAME with only paying $10, and considering gold isnt to hard to get, that is more than resonable, ESO gets a lot of flack, but it is actually a good game.
