The difficulty spike for ascension 200 is the addition of Twitch chat backseaters. Each level over 20 just adds another backseater.

jorbs a year ago i started watching your videos, this coincided with me making one of the biggest moves in my life by going to teach english in china. a year later and im still teaching and still watching your videos. its been an amazing, but incredibly stressful, year and i dont think im exaggerating when i say your content has kept me sane. im a very anxious person but your StS runs never fail to help me relax, thank you.

I have trained myself to always take a look at your relics before I question why you wait on getting the killing blow on a fight. As well as keep a reminder of what cards would benefit to do said blow if you have them. Makes it easier to understand descisions without you habing to explain them everytime.

Such an amazing game, I'm torn right now as I'm massively into Monster Train but it's hard to beat StS.

Ya, MT is bored after 20 hours of play, its not balanced and very RNG, also some cards are quite strong against the rest, about 40% cards are useless or minor impact. Also the route of each run is repetitive, boss fight is a meh, always a boss rush and you just wish for best cards draw or after 4-5 turns you get screwed.

@@Holystar12 Im really enjoying it but I know what you mean I've definitely encountered some balancing issues between cards, I guess that also comes down to runes though, I love that aspect, being able to customise and power up units/spells.

Trung Nguyen Quoc like sts,its pretty rng based,and the balancing part as a track record have done pretty well,in term of content,i would say it is absolutely good on that front and balancing,well is always hard to do but they are in the right direction so i would say the game is complete,and bosses is not as bland as i think you said there are,Shiny Shoe(Creator of Monster Train) is also trying to include bosses with unique gimmicks,i would gladly play 100 hours of the game

God that heartbeat of doom or whatever The Heart's ability is called literally on its own makes the shiv deck and anything else that plays lots of cards completely unviable. That's so brutal

38:30 not an attorney, but I am quite sure that there are laws about it. Called copyright. And public game streaming is basically illegal, unless you got permission. Obviously it's free advertisement, so you won't see a lot of people getting into trouble. Some publishers have a general statement for steaming, but it's wishy-washy most of the time.

I think you might make a case for Ring of the Serpent here. You already have Bag of Prep and drawing an extra card each turn should be pretty good. Fusion Hammer might still be better, but I don't think the option should just be dismissed here right?

It seems that everytime I try to run a Shiv deck I always get the Time Eater. Funnily enough, I finally beat that boss earlier with a Shiv deck. Had a Runic Pyramid along with two Infinite Blades.

Apparently shiv builds are bad? I'm only up to A9 but ive found most of my winning runs are dependent on after image + shivs. I'm struggling to build poison builds that create enough block. Can someone tell me where the block comes from on poison builds most of the time?

If it seems old because the card art is old, once you beat the Heart with a given character you unlock the ability to use beta card art for that character's cards, so Jorbs uses the beta card art on some cards. If you mean something else, I dont know!

imagine calling it a shiv deck and instead of nosediving into a fiery wreck by taking every card you see that says "shiv," you just play the game normally but end up with multiple infinite blades and a kunai (and later shuriken) seriously though, multiple skipped cloak and daggers and most of all the skipped storm of steel
