This T-shirt is meant as a gift to a young man who prefers to dress modestly.
It has no messages or eye-catching elements on the shirt. At the same time, it should have some small visual effects.
I chose a dark green and frizzy shirt.
Generally, when painting clothes at home, it is recommended to use fabric that is at least 95% cotton. 100% cotton would be ideal since it absorbs and holds the color even better.

I put some paper inside the shirt to prevent the bottom layer from absorbing the top layer's colors.
I taped the stripes onto the chest area of the shirt.
I chose the Marabu Textil Plus black and yellow paint and used a sponge to transfer the colors onto the fabric.
I pressed quite hard, so the color absorption would be better.
I removed the tape before the paint has fully dried. Actually, it is recommended to let it dry completely to prevent accidental smearing.
I was pleasantly surprised with the result.
I let it dry for a couple of days and then ironed it from both sides for about 3 minutes using the iron's cotton mode.
The nice thing about this kind of coloring is that you can illustrate clothes without needing to draw. You only need to use some tape, fabric paint, a sponge, a layer of paper, and later ironing to make the color stick.
