i love the way you think, I’d also call myself someone who has multifaceted skills (drawing, piano, guitar, ceramics, psych, other stuff). i love seeing someone who embodies that drive for creation. i think it all starts with belief. the brain is much more resilient then we know. love your vids excited to watch more

Hey appreciate it! And that’s awesome. Drawing is something I wish I could do, but just isn’t my field sadly Lol. But you’re correct, it’s a fulfilling lifestyle once you can believe that everything is doable like you said. Definitely have a lot more to share on this in future vids 👌

Just came across your channel and absolutely love your content. I watched a few of your videos and I like how you don't preach becoming obsessive and cutting off everything, just doing what you want to improve first and reward later. Could you make a video on HOW to decide what hobbies you want to pursue? At any point I want to do so much but not sure what to focus on and how long to stick to one.

Hey thank you! 🙏, that’s actually a topic I was drafting up today! You aren’t the first to ask so I’ll most like prioritize that. It will mostly be me laying out what really clicked for me, and some concepts to take away. 👌

7:12 The complex tasks in anything ruin the goal because you're too focused on the end result. The simple fundamentals and learning are so key. That's why whenever i teach firearms, I always stress the fundamentals.

Can you elaborate more on the living life as systems part? Do you mean instead of working towards a goal, just have the general idea of "I'm going to do Piano today"? If so, how do you also ensure that you're staying on track for those things, that you're learning the right stuff and not just doing the same stuff again and again
@vaughngene

Hey, I actually go over that I my previous video about how to learn anything fast. But the short answer is to ensure that you are always learning something NEW everytime you sit down to practice or study. This applies to just about anything. Particularly in Language and Music though. Review is nice, but practice should be mostly what you are not comfortable with. If you do this everyday (or almost), and spend your other time polishing what you know, overtime you'll naturally have a large database of polished work to show. I'm glad you asked though so I can make a standalone video about this for more clarity! It's probably something I should really go into detail about. Thanks!

I just read ESSENTIALISM. He says you can achieve more by doing LESS. Seems a lot like what you are saying. Nice intro- make the guitar part louder! Are those weighted keys? I just played the Yamaha M8X 88 weighted keys and synth. Hand was a bit distracting. Less is more! 😀 Good tips though. Fundamentals are key. Yes, our brains can only process

I rather have it all in one go. People can just come back when they want to refresh the ideas or find a different channel. Like a textbook. And the keyboard is weighted yeah! Allegro III. Thanks for the input. 💪
@UTAH100
@UTAH100 11 күн бұрын
@@vaughngene Nice on the weighted keys. Shame you will have to sell, then re-purchase in the states. Get that Yam. I mentioned- it's $5k though! Worth every cent. You will want some nice studio monitors to go with it. The Allegro is decent- a lot of bang for the buck. You make it sound like a more expensive keyboard. Less is often more. I hear you on the one take. Do whatever you want. Just saying, people these days in the US have about a 3 second attention span- and I am being very generous. You will see when you return. It's gotten much worse. Whilst your theory is logical, no one is going to watch all 26 minutes, or break it up and come back. At least most won't IMHO. Anyway- all good stuff. Keep up the good work.
@vaughngene

I oddly have a very high viewer retention rate to my suprise Lol. It's something I really don't care about, but all the videos are quite high. & Keyboard sound mostly comes from how you EQ it, Extremely minimal and not overdoing it. A $200 keyboard can sound like a $10k one with the skill.
