Good to see you Jerry. All drivers should be paid for ALL their work, not just miles driven. The New Age driver as you say are simply asking to be paid for what they do, pre-trip, post-trip, maintenance, trip plan, loading, unloading, etc. This is an industry problem since the 70's which they have ignored. No driver is afraid of the work they just deserve to paid. Looking forward to the New BRT.

If it is so hard to find truckers, why their rates are not going up? They are all essentially getting below poverty rates considering the hours they work

Truckers need to be paid above $80,000 a year. They work to bring us what we need. Truckers are the life line of the economy.

why is there so few docs down town Ottawa so most truck drop in downtown Ottawa need to be handnombed and if lucky the lift can be used
