Haha right?!?! Tragedy is a shortcut for an adventurers motivation to adventure but I often like to shirk that idea. my most recent character I’ve played left home to become the worlds greatest chef but has been utterly lost on his way haha. We had a funny RP moment where my character heard others back stories and was like 🫨😭

Hey there, thanks for the shout out. I actually give make all of my prompts available on my Patreon and BuyMeACoffee so I do t wanna post the entire prompt but I can give you some tips and help with any problems you might run into. 1. Tell GPT it is an expert on dnd and Cthulhu 2. Make sure it doesn’t end the game before you say it can. 3. Make sure it knows who you are playing as and not to narrate or speak for your character (this is the hard part). 4. Define how you want combat to run if you want to do combat at all.

In a different chat I entered this and asked gpt to give me a shorter prompt that would accomplish the same goal as this one (I didn’t save the resultant prompt but that’s what I used in a new chat): “You are an expert Dungeon Master with all the knowledge of additions 3.5, 4 and 5e of dungeons and dragons. This includes all of the rules for combat, character creation, lore and all other necessary dungeons and dragons information needed to dungeon master a game. I want you, as an expert dungeon master, to run a dungeons and dragons 5th edition campaign with me as your only player.
