I’ve been to a couple of Katrina’s retreats (Nashville, Tennessee) and enjoyed them both. They are small enough that you get to meet and talk with everyone there, and I love that. I wish I were able to attend this one! Blessings, Marlene

I am very excited to hear you will be in Virginia, Ingeborg! I live fairly close to Waynesboro and would love to meet you there. I also must comment about Haus Tirol in Williamsburg. That is my favorite LNS even though it is over 2 1/2 hours drive from my house. Once a month I make the trip to spend time with Lydia and Paula and pick up all of the charts, fabrics and threads that I have asked them to order for me. They have owned the shop, in the same location, for, I believe, about 40 years. Lydia is originally from Austria and Paula is her daughter. Lydia was having health issues this summer and, during this same time, Paula went out of town to be at the birth of her grandchild. This was a very stressful time for both and Lydia had to close the shop early some days because of her health. Then, soon after Paula returned from her trip, they had a death in the family and had to close for a few days to visit with family. I am happy to say that Lydia was looking very well indeed when I visited about a week ago and I think they are back to their regular schedule. I will check and get back with you, but I believe they are open 5 days a week from 10:00 - 4:30. I'll contact Paula and report back. I hope I get to connect with you while you are in Virginia!

Ohh i have to check ebay for the Kingsland I have them all except Autumn and have wanted to stitch them ever since I found them at the thrift store. Have the most fun at the retreat. Happy stitching Patty BC Canada

Your colors for Turkish Delight are beautiful! What a wonderful trip it sounds like you're planning! The east coast is so beautiful, but one of these visits to the US you need to come see the Rockies in Colorado. :)
