It was very good to see you , I’m sorry you are experiencing lock down again. It’s so hard living like that, as much as I hate it, I am more afraid of going out and catching something. For what it’s worth remember you are not alone. Loved seeing your stitching, it’s beautiful. That stitching style “Beiersbont” is very interesting, it seems to be similar to “Chicken Scratch” done on gingham fabric. Happy & Healthy New Year to you 🎆

I'm mostly worried for my family, some of whom are more at risk due to their medical history, but yes it's hard. Thanks for your continued support Minnie, i wish you and your loved ones all things good in the coming year!

Ingeborg. My dear friend, thank you for making a video. I loved seeing you and your stitching. The Holocaust Memorial in Berlin was fascinating. I have never seen anything like that before. I am going to do research to learn about the designers intentions as to the symbolism of those pillars and slabs. I miss you so much. I'm having a very hard time right now with life. Yours is the first Flosstube video I've watched in weeks. My stitching has slowed down. Not stopped, but not as much as before. I hope this year is better for both of us. Hugs to you my sweet friend.

Oh Andrea I wish I had looked at my comments sooner. I'm sorry to hear you've been having a hard time. I hope you're feeling better by now. I've not been up for it last year much, but i'm doing a lot better mentally so if you'd like to hang out over zoom sometime just let me know! xx

It's good to see you. I'm also working on Cornwall Cottage Sampler and seeing your stitching reminds me how I need to get back to it. . it's such a lovely design. I'm curious how the Netherlands is dealing with the pandemic asides from lockdowns. . is there a widespread vaccination and testing program? We (the world) will get through this. . in the meantime, it's a good time to stitch on things we love to stitch. Best wishes for 2022!

Yes we have vaccinations and are currently handing out the booster shots, I get mine in a few days. About 80% of the population is vaccinated.

I wish I could, but I didn't take note of the artist. I think the painting was in the museum Alte Nationalgalerie, you may have luck and find it on their website?
