this is off the subject but do you like the hinderer xm18 skinner blade?for some reason i like it but none of my friends care for it?i have other blade shapes including the xm18 fullered spear heavily modified.should i get it anyways because it brings me the hinderer joy?i have 8 other hinderersim not sure why i care what others think or why?

As an automotive technician, I really enjoyed the rant about the 2001 Ford Taurus. Everything Ford made in the early 2000’s was hideous 😂

I would get the damasteel version if it had a damasteel clip to match the damasteel inlay and blade. A plain titanium clip covering half the damasteel inlay feels so wrong.

They list the Magnacut at 62-63HRC, but other list it 61-63. So hope it's on the higher side, I really don't want to see Magnacut on a folder below 62, just like we don't wanna see M390 below 60

Re: wire clips. I agree they aren't stylish. But...they ARE functional. Do they look good on a mid-tech or custom knife? Heck no. But I have some higher-end knives where the milled clip is a disaster, both for use and my pants pocket. I have a Giant Mouse ACE Nazca with a wire clip, and it works both with the design and for EDC, I love it.

And if you HATE wire clips, the Lynch NorthWest Spyderco standard wire clip replacements will work with a lot of non-Spyderco knives. There's a compatibility list, some of Giant Mouse models are mentioned. I got one for my Lil' Native Wharnie and I love it - gonna get another for my M390 MKM Isonzo Hawkbill, gonna make the perfect package ripper-opener 5th-pocket knife even BETTER!

@@d_sharon_design Same! I think they look and work great, I've had a bunch of clips in my life that I had to bend back for them to work properly again but never had that issue with wire clips for some reason. :) Plus they kind of remind me of Lamy pens in a good way haha.

Don't get me wrong , I love knives... Just tired of seeing same thing over and over again.😐 When winters came out with Factor i was mind blown. Same with a few other knives in last few years. Very seldomly do i see anything that grabs me. Just stuff being cranked out constantly that is unimpresive to me. Me. Looks like 100 other knives out now , at least.
