Yes I have both, the 124060 is a totally different watch, my 16610 is from 2000 and has a date, I wear the neo-vintage watch during the week and other one is for the weekend, I love both

For me personally the Submariner 124060 is divers watch perfection personified . The iconic design, dimensions, elegance, beauty, amazing movement and the whole package is just unmatched in the watch market right now ! Also as a person who likes his watches to look pristine forever i love that it has a ceramic bezel which will probably never scratch, a dial and lume that will never patina or age , it’s the best part about the watch. The Submariner 124060 is PERFECT !

The current Sub41 wears very wide.

I still love my LV reverse monogram nkuwan clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

When it comes to fine imitation watches, nkuwan delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.

Imho you picked the wrong watch for both iterations. If you want a ceramic and pre-ceramic Rolex dive watch, and a date and no date version, the ideal combination is the 14060M pre-ceramic no date Submariner, and the 116600 ceramic Sea-Dweller.

Cool video, I like the five digit more. It looks more like a tool watch and the new one looks more dressy.

Another great video. I had the 14060M but gave it to my son and bought the16610ln and later the 16610lv and the Starbucks. Enjoy them all but I wouldn’t mind the 14060M again. Just the right size. I will have to be content looking at my son’s watch instead. Just bought the Audemars 15060! Amazing watch!

The 5 digit Subs are hands down way more beautiful. The aluminium bezel, in my eyes, just works better.

My only complaint about the new sub is the clasp. It is HUGE! I like the thinner lugs compared to the previous gen but that clasp killed it for me personally. Nice review! Wear in good health

Dear SC, I absolutely hate vintage Rolex. The bracelets are garbage, worse than on a $200 Seiko Orange Monster, clasps are a joke and feel like stamped from an empty beer can. Case machining is average at best same goes for hands and dials. If it wasn't for modern ceramic stuff I personally wouldn't touch Rolex with a barge pole. The only great thing about neo vintage Rolex are the movements. Mainly because Aegler made them to last and be fully serviceable which can't be said about the modern movements (did you know that the mainspring barrel is impossible to open on modern Rolex movements? Silicone hairspring is also impossible to fix if broken).

nkuwan 's watches are worth it！

I currently have a 2010 16610 that I have owned for 3 years. It is a very beautiful watch and lovely to wear, and I much prefer it to the 2010 14060m I had. The date gives it more character and I find the 16610 bracelet nicer than the 14060m, with its solid end links and more secure clip-in divers extension. I don't think I'll ever buy a 124060/126610, too big and clinical I think. I do wear my Omega titanium electric blue with Ti Bond bracelet way more than even the 16610 though. The older Seamaster (2006) has even more character and comfort than the 16610. Incredibly more comfortable actually.

One’s robust, technologically up to date, superior in design, longer power reserve, sit’s better on wrist, beautiful, and work of art! The other inferior, cheaply made, weak light weight, outdated movement, and unbalanced! Perfect analogy!

I have a 14060M and the size is great but it feels top heavy and I therefore usually wear my Explorer 124270 instead. I wish Rolex would offer the Sub in a slightly smaller size for those of us with smaller wrists or who appreciate more vintage proportions. First world problems!

This seems like you're trying to justify to yourself why you have both. The watches are very similar, the 124060 is just more refined. Sure, it's more modern in terms of build and feel but fundamentally it's the same watch. It's okay to be irrational when it comes to hobbies/passions. You don't need to do these mental gymnastics and point out the smallest of differences to make youself feel better about your decision haha

Classic is better. I always felt the newer subs are too heavy. Old sub with a new clasp would be perfect
