Seth you can get a plug adapter for your tool and vacuum that will automatically turn the vacuum on whenever the tool draws power. Then you don't need to lean down and turn it on every time... or be like me and end up with dust everywhere when you forget to turn it on.

Put in a door to your voice booth. The amazing way to do it: Put wheels on your "Not staircase" and cut the door behind it. re-bolt the stairs to the door and add a latch so it doesn't open when you don't want it to. That way, when you want to open the door, the stairs and the door would open and swing out and close as a single unit without losing any space or having to move anything. (keep the craw hole so you don't get locked in)

As a tank crewman I can tell you climbing into a hatch, no matter your size, is easier then crawling under something like a desk (atleast if you have back trouble like I do...) I would put a hatch up top and mount a ladder to either wall and boom done. Either way, love the content. I would love to get back into biking and your channel is definitely taking me there. I live near mountain creek and the trail map on your wall is as inspiring as your channel. Thank you for your work

Just an idea here, maybe make the door like a false bookshelf and have open outward, but instead of bookshelves, you have storage racks and hooks for your gear!! Simple design, easy to build and hidden away from eyes!!! just make sure to include some caster on the bottom of the door so it will last.

I have a DeWalt framing saw, a drill/impact set, and an electric chainsaw. They're awesome! I use those out in the woods, but use the smaller lighter stuff in the garage. Also, often times we need duplicate tools when others are helping. DeWalt was by far the best choice for me because it's available at Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace hardware. None of the other brands are as easy for me to get accessories for, as Home Depot (Milwaukee & Makita) is so far away.

I'm 5' 4" too... Seth looks like he could be my brother. I'm always the shortest guy at work. There are some advantages though, like you get to shop in the kids section and wear the coolest clothes xD

Awesome idea making the addic to a play area for kids. You and all your friends that will end up getting kids will love to now where you have them and that they are having a good time! Love the fire pole idea, but combining that with small kids = serious trouble...

The booth is great. Entry is clear because you're not using your table, maybe add some soft mats near the entrance to save your knees? | Roof space- excited to see what your creative brain does up there. IN the meantime, I'm on my way with my trainset. 👍⭐️😀

What's the point of those? Why not use a regular pencil? (if necessary a thick, soft one)
@tilago
@tilago 4 жыл бұрын
@@sebastianjost you'd be surprised how many regular pencil tips you'll break on course wood, the whole purpose is that you can strike horizontally and keep the edge because the lead is much thicker down the shaft

Put the coffee cabinet on caster wheels. Mount your cabinet to the “possible new door”. Your cabinet stays functional, it just pivots as you open the door to the recording studio.
@luckythegerman
@luckythegerman 4 жыл бұрын
Has to be a right door. But if you make the cabinet a door, how do you close it? The handle must be in the cabinet, so it is hard to reach. Also, swinging the cabinet may mess with the stuff in it. Spillages and electrical work may bot be a great combo

Yo, quick thought- Build a voice over area in the attic space after you build a set of stairs outside gouging us to it so you don’t ave to crawl under the desk. Or cut a hole in the ceiling along the wall next to your computer and build a ladder going up and have a pole next to it to come back down. Just an idea.
Building a break room and finishing the shop for good
