The plaintiff purchased a truck for her ex-girlfriend with the agreement that she’d make the payments. However, the plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to do so and racked up seven tickets, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists she gave back the truck and shouldn’t have to continue making the payments.

This is a good example of why you shouldn't give someone a car still in your name and also owe payments for it. The creditor doesn't have a contract with them, so if they miss payments, it still falls on you. You can also be liable for any accidents or tickets that happen with that vehicle.

Even at that, when you co-sign for someone, that person defaults, you are still liable for the payments. That is why I never co-signed for anyone. Clean record.

Folks, beware of and take a good look at the plaintiff who will do anything for a few dollars. Plaintiff was homeless until defendant took her and her child in. Then she met a man her next trick and moved into his home. I believe the defendant, when the plaintiff said that her mom with Alzheimer’s lives on her property that the whole just purchased, so it’s your property but your mom with Alzheimer’s JUST purchased it. It didn’t make any sense, she kind of gave herself away. I think she slipped up. The defendant is right, I feel the plaintiff may take advantage of her mothers money and of other peoples money at times.

Plaintiff purchased the truck for her son, but he was unable to keep his license, meaning he drank a lot and had many DUI's. And lost his license and she had to find someone to take over the truck payments before it would mar her so called pristine credit rating. Thus she hit up to her new friend and she messed up also, no paying the payments. LMAO!
