I'm not even a fan of sipover's content style, I just genuinely excited to see this kind of minecraft warfare. The last one was so interesting with the bomber fleets that essentially mimicked an air war, it'll be really interesting to see that with ICBMs

this is amazing! all you would really need for battle ship is a coordinate grid that would connect to a byte sized bus going to the screen but no, you decided to do it the cubicmetre way and it turned out ten times better.

Very nice design! One year ago I was looking for some concept to play with my friends, but I couldn't find any. Thats why I made a very simple one myself. The tile was like this(up to down): wooden pressure plate, block, air, sticky piston facing up, another sticky piston facing up, lamp, lever. To 'activate' a tile you had to activate the lever and once the plate was hit with an arrow, the piston extended and broke the plate meaning that the ship was hit.

when you spoke about the powdered snow vs falling entities issue, my immediate thought was to dispense the snow for, like, a tick to stop the momentum, and then pulse the dispensers again to pick it back up

This is incredible! The first redstone project I made was a giant battleships game, this was right after repeaters were added and I thought a repeater RS-NOR bank was as compact as redstone would get. Seeing all these strange mechanisms really makes me want to get back into it :) there's a lot to learn

49:00 So, uh, Cubic... alkali metals are in the first group (that means lithium, sodium, potassium, etc; together with hydrogen ig). Cadmium is in group 12 xd Also for the grid that's being hit ig you coud've made a line of blocks inbetween (seperate 5&6), but also do that on the perpendicular side (spread the vertical 5&6 as well, so essentially you get a cross in the middle)? Anyway, super cool minigame!!!

I assume the Minecraft version is 1,17.x? If it can work after the latest update, I’d like to test if it works on bedrock, as I’m one of few who can do both. Can you make a user interface with six chiseled bookshelves and make it so the books get shot back to the player as long as they stand in the right spot? I made my own without the automatic book thing and I didn't have space for one of the lines so it's has 29 inputs instead of 30 minus the 6 that are used to reset the shelf

I don't know if you will read this comment but I want to let you know that a farm to obtain the god particle is possible *in some servers* since purpur optimizations merge the particles into a single one before giving them to the player

Not really. The hoppercart timers are the best way to encode the tick precision timings meaning you would need to somehow translate each button into a specific item count and signal strength combination.

@@cubicmetre how dumb would it be to give every button its own 2 lecterns and hoppercart timers? I suppose there probably wouldn't be enough space for that many wires into the cannon. What about separate inputs for the X and Y target grid coordinates, either 2 rows of 10 buttons or 2 10-page lecterns?

Talking to him in discord, he did this "manually" by using around 80 command blocks which would paste a value some distance away from him at the block he's looking at

I was thinking, the current enderpearl cannons are either very big or they are only in a straight line, and seeing the lazy chunks cannons I was thinking that if you manage to shoot an enderpearl and at the same time a TNT, you could change its direction in the air, right? This would be an orbital cannon, I passed the idea here because I don't have enough knowledge to do it, please have cubimetre read it!! No
