"When they gather in prayer circles and huddled up before a mission they're not going out to play football. They are going into mortal combat and they know that some of them are liable not to come back. They do it because they have faith." LtCol Oliver North honors all those who serve and who have bravely served, on this Veteran's Day.

My father was a Vietnam era Noncom in the army 64-68. He fought the child war. The first time he received any acknowledge was at my daughter's school. The Principal was, (and will always be), a Marine. He felt the Vets all earned to be acknowledged.

Passionate attachment to another nation produces a variety of evils ... the illusion of common interests where no real common interests exist; adopting the enmities of the other; and participation in the quarrels and wars of the other without any justification. Still another evil is that such a passionate attachment gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens the facility to betray or sacrifice the interests of their own country. - George Washington

In George Washington farewell address,he warned us about Foreign affairs and Popular government and how a different type of patriotism would emerge thur popular government and not to encourage it.he warned about false alarms and how standing armies around the world like ours would threaten our liberties and freedoms.his concerns came true.and today we live in a culture that were indoctrinated to believe that real patriotism is our devotion to our government and that we will Sacrifice our personal interest for the interest of the government and for the interest of a Corporate state.😭 this video is more depressing than one can imagine.

To all that served and to all that has fallen, America without her Soldiers would be like God without his angels. God bless you all. Just in case you ever see or visit a grave of a veteran, you might see some coins laying around the headstone. Do not disturb them since they are placed there on purpose. A coin left on a headstone or at the grave site is meant as a message to the deceased soldier’s family that someone else has visited the grave to pay respect. Leaving a penny at the grave means simply that you visited. Leaving a nickel indicates that you and the deceased trained at boot camp together. Leaving a dime means you served together in some capacity. Leaving a quarter at the grave, you are telling the family that you were with the soldier when they were killed. God speed and Semper Fi!

As a member of a family who has had someone serve in combat since the Indian wars til right now in Afghanistan my highest esteem goes to all veterans. We as a nation we need to care for our vets from the time they volunteer til the time we lay them to rest.

Don’t pretend you care about this country or its veterans. Your actions on this website show different. You are still the same deceptive poser and liar. You seek to deny veterans their right to self defense.

@@lastswordfighter actions on this site? What calling the NOI a right wing hate group or saying Dana is a liar and a propagandist, no wait calling for comprehensive gun control measures to prevent another Thousand Oaks (I noticed was never mentioned here) by offering our vets real mental health, and after combat service care a bunch of bs...how many real combat vets do you know? I was raised by them now I am now older relative to them, I've seen the self medication, anger, disillusionment and suicide first hand...next time you post act like you know what you are talking about.
@lastswordfighter
@lastswordfighter 5 жыл бұрын
Every comment you make on this site is the same lousy recycled left wing hate group propaganda always calling for gun confiscation. You are a shill. You are wrong. You are a poser. There is nothing real about or your socket puppet accounts. We did gun control already and it did not work. We are not repeating it again. You get nothing. You lose, you will live with, and you will accept it. You were not raised by any combat vets. You are the sort that dishonors their memory and does everything they can to ensure they have their lives, property, wealth, and their means to self defense taken by big government. You are the problem. You have always been the problem. Dana is correct and so is the NRA. @@darkdan3379

41 years ago I took Brother Jose home on Nov. 1st. He was a Vietnam War Hero who reenlisted as a Pvt. to come back ANGLICO he thought we were going to War with IRAN. The Priest noted in his citation for the Silver Star When the helicopter on board which he was a passenger was struck by Enemy fire and crash landed Cpl. Hernandez unhesantly exposed himself to intense Enemy fire as he remained open to administer first aid to Several Vietnamese Marines and assisted them to reach cover.

Powerful and true words. Even if I, as a german army soldier, don't agree with the "Of any country in history". We have lots of well trained and educated personal in Nato. "The average of the young American serving in Uniform today is 20 1/2 years of age. [...] He's a high school graduate. He's a volunteer. He is brighter, better educated, better trained, led and equipped, than any soldier, sailor, airman, guardsmen or marine, of any country in history. [...] He's been taught chemistry, physics, ballistics, avionics and electronics, to operate and maintain the most sophisticated weapons and equipment ever designed by the hand and mind of man. He can use his body like a weapon and his weapon like a part of his body. And he can take a live or save one because he has been so remarkably well trained."

Mr.North, my second attempt to contact you got a ton of family who served and still do. I have a few things I would love to share with you and would love to volunteer for you. But am almost convinced that your organization is too busy for such things. Pray that I hear from you and will be making sure my grandfather and great uncle's graves are flagged for the day. My great uncle's picture is in the second row down on the iconic picture of the flag raising on day 4 of Iwo Jima. His name was Joe Gornick and he was a Marine. Good day to you and enjoy your weekend.
