A Walk to Emily Bronte's Top Withens, Haworth

This 2.5 mile / 4 kms (one-way!) walk to the inspiration for Emily Bronte's sole novel, Wuthering Heights (1847), as Top Withens (sometimes Top Withins, even Top o' the Withins).
TV Presenter, Geoff Druett follows the footpath by Lower Laithe reservoir (about 2 miles from Haworth, by the access track), first to the Bronte Chair and Bronte waterfall. From there it's a steep and sometimes muddy walk up to the lonely farmhouse (the Pennine Way crosses the moors nearby).

I have been there for three times. I'm sure Haworth is the one of the most beautiful and unforgettable places in England. I walked 6 hours to go to Top Withens. It was one of my greatest moments in my life. After corona virus ended, I'd like to go there one more. Thank you for your wonderful video clip. It reminds me my precious trip in England.

NOT ONLY IS WUTHERING HEIGHTS ONE OF THE MOST CLASSIC NOVELS IN ENGLISH LITERATURE BUT IN WORLD LITERATURE AS WELL!!!!!

I recently went this walk to Top Withens...it's one long walk (phew) but worth it. The sight of the ruin appearing over the edge of the hill was like something out of a film. Amazing.

Absolutely lovely video, thanks for putting it up. It's great to see some footage of the walk in the morning light, and I really like your relaxed but informative presentation style.
