A real person with the occasional swear word. A great smile and other facial expressions that set the scene. Dancing in the landscape, being inspiring and factual. She makes me smile and laugh. I'm watching this vlog for the second time and still laughed out loud at your post hike hat hair back in the camper van. That is me most weekends after being out walking and my husband always laughs at the state of my hat hair. Rude!

Playing catch up on your videos after stabling across them, they are great. I loved the comment "if it's good enough for sheep, it's good enough for me". I had a good laugh with that as that is how I hike in general, invariably following sheep paths..!

Hi Sarah, really inspiring vlog. I'm making a solo trip to Scotland in August where I plan to hike in Glen coe and Isle of Skye. I would have loved to get camper van but the idea on struck a few weeks before the trip and it turns out it's a very popular time of year to visit the highlands so all they were all booked up and prices are hefty. That water looks very cold, my hat off to you for taking a dip in those lochs. All the best to you.

Sarah - prepare for some serious praise - I discovered this vlog for the first time today, and was moved to comment! I liked - your zany humour, unremitting enthusiasm, physical courage, huge enthusiasm for Scotland, and crazy penchant for chucking yourself into freezing lochs! Your vlog is very professional and jogs along at a nice pace. Only one tiny criticism - your pronunciation of ' Loch' needs work - you need to get down and dirty with the 'ch' part, as if you are clearing your throat in preparation for a big spit...

Fabulous video.. Can't believe you went in that Loch it must have been freezing. Great content I've just got myself a vw t2 and going to Scotland 2020 so looking for some places to visit and some tips on what food was handy to have packed. Kind regards Mikey from sunny Merthyr Tydfil. X

Mikey Mochan definitely head to the Isle of Skye if you can, I found it so magical when I went there (not in this vlog). Glencoe is amazing too, but busy in summer apparently. I’ve only been in October and February, when everywhere’s relatively quiet, and it was bliss! Torridon is a great place too if you like hiking. Food wise - I had a lot of noodles, some meals from Firepot food, I tend to keep things pretty simple as I want as much time out exploring as pos and as little time sorting food and boring stuff as pos haha! Enjoy your trip dude!! 😊
