Btw tbh I don't quite understand why she gets such attention from politicians, she's an extremist. It's good to inform about climate issues especially were it's not common knowledge but her way of doing it encourages hysteria and panic ie people glueing/ taping themselves into roads and stuff and thus can and have caused deaths due to traffic jam causing ambulances and other rescue Vehicles to be unable to reach their destinations in time etc etc. Imagine if they'd either researched or innovated or at least let others do it, instead so that real, working solutions could be made.

I love the powerharrow! It's the only way for us to make a decent seedbed, normally 2 passes after plowing. It's the only way to farm on our ground.

Come on Olly show some love for the power Harrow. I spent a few night shifts in the early 80s on a TW35 with a 6m Lely rotterra burning diesel and popping the machine gun style shear pin belts. We had a new TW35 each of the years I studented there. Made the pot bearing in the back end glow a bit running 24/7 for a few thousand acres. 98% on those memories.

With the power harrow he used to weld extensions on to the original tines and have the roller set as far down as possible, we hardly had any stones getting jammed after doing this as the knuckles sat a lot higher.

I farm on marshland so don't get stones jamming the powerharrow however it's been a MOD range for 100 years and in the 90s I did get it jammed on a WW1 mortar round.😮 These days run a 5m folding version, use it maybe every 3rd year always does a nice job.

Love this channel well done Olly. Used to do harvest work in the 80's, rolling after power harrowing for oilseed rape was my favourite job, Used to use a 1969 cat d4. I should know the quiz answer as I spent a fair few hours doing it. Answer is a vertidrain easiest way to describe it is a turf decompactor think of the pushing a fork in the ground and pulling on the handle same basic action.

not a lot of eople know how to set a ower harrow up , you must run the machine with bed dead flat , back to front , the to link & the crumbler take all the weight when working , the lift arms only pull the machine along m so on the headland hit the up lever ,spin round then dro it , it will follow all the contours throught the field , that green one was sloing frontwards !!! Have fun .regards fron an ex mashico user !!!!
