All aircraft have a manual release of the landing gears locking mechanism. Once it is released the weight of the Landing Gear would make it drop into position. This situation should never occur. This is a simulation. You wouldn't taxi a aircraft on the engine

Hiciste muchas tomas innecesarias del exterior del avión. Además esos movimientos de cámara con acercamiento y alejamiento resultan un poco molestos, pero salvo ese detalle, está bueno el video y los gráficos son espectaculares. 👌

Thank you, real interesting! Would love to see you simulate the landing of Pan Am flight 3573 ✈️…. In 1971 the 747 Classic successfully returned to KSFO after sustaining takeoff damage when it collided with ILS antennae, losing most hydraulics. On landing the left wing gear, amongst other equipment, did not deploy. She bounced high, eventually stopped on the runway and tipped back to rest on her tail due to aft CG. This made all the front end door slides useless as the nose was way too high above ground.

Good simulation, as far as I know A380 landing gear is designed to deploy by gravity if they lose hydraulics.

On qualifie trop souvent des gens comme héros, alors qu’ils n’ont fait ce que l’on attendait d’eux après formation. Le pilote avait les compétences et le savoir pour atterrir l’avion. Certainement que de sauver sa peau était tout aussi important que de réussir à atterrir l’avion sans trop de dommages. Qualifie t-on un neurochirurgien de héros parce qu’il a sauvé la vie de nombreux patients grâce à son savoir faire?

Did this pilot informed the ATC about this technical failure? If yes then where is the emergency team at the airport.. Otherwise this seems to a imaginary video.. But even if you imagine this, you must consider the emergency back up always..

In this case, If the pilot knew that one side of the landing gear is not working he should retract all the landing gears and redo one more time, this is to re energise the whole hydraulic system because some time is only intermittent malfunctioning of hydraulic valves..have to switch the gear up and then down again ..

I think that he already did this procedure but it didn't work may be the upper mechanical lock was blocked because of many reasons apart from hydraulic system..this problem cand be solve by making high maneuver reach to 6 or 7 G ..that's impossible in transportation aircrafts..so the pilot was an amazing one

1. This is a simulation. It never happened in real life. 2. Drag and effect on noise and fuel consumption. 3. Where would you put them? The engine cowls are the lowest point but they are not strong enough to support the weight of the aircraft. In real life the landing gear should drop by gravity 99% of the time if it fails to be powered down
