A7C Vlog test with using the Sony 11mm 1.8 during the evening.
A7c being used in APSC mode.
Sound is being recorded on the Sony ECM-GZ1M without alterations.

Hoping I can use the 11mm with an a6700 without a gimbal for a time being. Your video looks pretty good ...exposure etc... thinking I'll need an nd filter as a lot of my vlogging will probably be during daylight. Thanks man.

If you shot 8bit then you can use the free catalyst browse software to slightly stabilize the recording. If you use 10bit then you would have to pay for it monthly. There is also additional factor of processing that recording. I personally do not use ND as it too much to fiddle around with for me, but if you can manage then kudos to you! In my opinion "content is King unless you have a specific vision". Will try out the A6700 with the 11mm as soon as it gets delivered from Amazon. Yes, using the Zhiyun M3S. The M2S is not fully compatible due to the weight of the A7C.

If you want a wider angle of view, I'm surprised you didn't try 11mm on FF mode 30fps. A7C has crop 1.2x at 30fps, and maybe you should also add clear image zoom 1.1x so that there is no vignetting, or without it but in post processing to add zoom 105%? The shot would look like it's about 14mm wide angle (ff without crop). (Of course, this all applies to video, for photography you need another full frame lens.)

Just looked at your a6700 video and looking at this with the original a7C to be in APSC mode and still have less noise in the corners with 8 bit is impressive.

Hoped it help! But I still kept the 6700 because of the smaller lens specially the 11mm 1.8. Great for cities.

Could use the 11mm with the A7C full time but I lose the resolution if needed a photo. That’s the reason I bought the 6700 as well.

@@CommuteNYC the 11mm is awesome. I have it for my ZV-E10 and a6400. I’m contemplating going FF for the better low light capabilities.

@@jaystechvue I had the ZV-E10 it shifts colors when it changes ISOs. For video 6700 works out for me if I use 1.8 lenses.

You look like a very scared person. You look around all the time and walking so fast like somebody is chaseing you and you get out of breathe ;) relax Bro ;) you dont need to run while vlooging and loosin a breath! You can walk peacefully or even sit down and talk to people. ;)
