I wonder is there really an age limit for tire casings. Yes, I understand they will be inspected and going through an approval process, still I wonder if there is an age limit for the casings that are to be rethreaded. OR does the rethreading process somehow do something rejuvenating for the casings as well. PS: I am not trolling. I really like to know. I have some 5 year old NOS tires on wheels and I wish to know if I can still mount them and/or then how long I can still drive them. I read all kind of cautionary armchair stuff on the net, so I hope here I can get some first hand professional information. Many thanks!
